Arador returned to the sound of waterfalls. He remembered the place all too well as his line had been in the house of Elrond for a time, hence the elvish spoken by most of the Dúnedain. He made his way to the training area smiling slightly as he watches Arathorn with, Elladan and Elrohir, the young sons of Elrond. They were fighting with wooden swords though the twins were definitely taking it easy on Arathorn. Elrond was only a small distance away from the three of them watching them gently but there was something...a look in Elrond's eyes that Arador couldn't explain.
"Papa" Arathorn calls, running to Arador upon seeing him
Arador held Arathorn close having missed his son.
"Arador, it's good to see you, melon nin" Elrond says
"As it is to see you, Lord Elrond. Thank you for looking after my son" Arador says "but it's time to return to his kin"
Elrond knew that Arathorn had dwelt in Rivendell too long while Arador was in the wild so, he gave no protest to the statement. However, it was already late into the winter evening, evidently shown by the darkening sky.
"Of course but please rest here tonight. It is late" Elrond says
"I will. Thank you for your hospitality Elrond" Arador responds
The very next day Arador took Arathorn back to the Dúnedain. It took half a day to ride back so it was late afternoon by the time they arrived in the kingdom. There was a celebration for the line being back together.
For a while at least they had peace and hope.
