"Hey, Katherine!" Keelia yelled. Katherine looked back at her and smiled, her blue eyes shining.

"Hi Keelia! Do you know where anyone else is?" They were all planning to meet up here. After planning this for years, they were finally old enough to do it!

"Aarron told me he was going to be late, and Flint and Axel said they were coming together, but they didn't say when."

"Aww... but that's going to take so long! How long have we been waiting now to do this? 5 years?"

"I know, but there's no way we would do it without them," she sighed.

"Well I guess all there is to do it wait then." Aarron, Keelia, Axel, Flint, and her had been friends since, well, since forever! They were born together, they were raised together, and they did everything with each other. Since they were very young, their dream was to join the Bastille Agents. Bastille Agents are Fae who become highly trained and work for the Fae Commanders. There were thousands of them, and most of the time they were sent on missions that involved fighting- which was something that had always interested the five.

But the most important thing was that today was the day. The day when they would all register to start their training to join the Bastille Agents.

Suddenly, Katherine was tackled from behind.

"Hiiiiii Kayte!" Axel said as Kayte got up from her fall. Kayte was the nickname they sometimes used for her, since they all thought Katherine was too long.

"Axel! What'd you do that for!"

"I thought it would be funny!" Axel giggled. Kayte looked behind over his shoulder to see Flint walking behind him. They both got up off of the floor and brushed themselves off.

"Well, now all we are waiting for is Aarron," Kayte said. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Speak of the devil," Flint said, and they all turned around to see  Aarron striding over to them.

"C'mon Aarron! Aren't you as excited as us for today?" Keelia asked.

"Well of course I am! I just had to do some stuff first."

"What kind of stuff?" They all questioned.

"Just, stuff. I'll tell you guys later." They let the topic drop.

"Alright, then. Time to go register?" They all nodded. As soon as they registered, they would begin their training. That's how it worked here. The training took quite a while, but it was worth it to join the Bastille Agents.

They saw the glowing symbol they were told to look out for. It was being guarded by two people. Kayte was the first to race over to it, her blonde hair flowing behind her as the rest of the followed.

"Umm, Hello. We would like to start our training for the Bastille Agents." Kayte said to one of them.

"Are you on the list, and do you all have your paperwork?" They each handed up their papers, and then sat while they looked over them. The guard each glanced at each other suspiciously.

"Actually, you five are among the one-hundred who were chosen to partake in a special mission." The five looked at each other in confusion.

"What do you mean? We came here to start our training! We're not ready for a mission yet!" Keelia said, while the rest of them nodded in agreement.

"I'm sorry, but we were given strict orders from the Fae Commanders. One-hundred people, who have not yet undergone training, were chosen for a top secret mission. Not even I know what it is. You'll have to come with us please," the second guard stated. He started to walk over to another pulsing symbol motioning for them to follow.

The group of friends glanced at each other in uncertainty. But soon enough, they started to walk over to the guard. They were very confused by their current situation, but at the same time, they were excited. To be chosen by the Fae was an honor! They all wondered where they would be going for this. They didn't have any training for a mission, but they wouldn't just fling them into battle on a suicide mission, right?
