Y/N's eyes flew open, and immediately, she knew that something was very, very wrong. Sweat made her clothes cling to her frame and her hair was matted against her face, but that wasn't even close to what was really concerning her. What was most frightening, was the fact that she couldn't remember a single thing about where she was, what she was doing, or who she happened to be.
Panic flared inside her chest and she scrambled into a sitting position, backing herself into a wall. She was aware that the floor was cold, and made of some sort of hard, woven fiber.
Taking in her surroundings in the dim, moving light, she could make out the vague outline of the boxy shaped compartment that was containing her and a cluster of smaller boxes and other random supplies inside with her.
Y/N swallowed and tried to calm her erratic heartbeat by taking deep breaths. "Hello?" She whimpered, but there was no answer, tipping her chin to see that she was headed upwards, towards some unknown point, and looking down, she could only see that it was all black.
Suddenly there was a loud whooshing noise, and the box began to increase the speed of it's ascent. Y/N couldn't help but let out a cry of alarm. "Hello!" This was more frantic. "Somebody, please help me!" But then the box stopped abruptly, shaking around it's contents and light exploded from the roof.
Y/N threw up her arm to protect herself, but when the initial surprise faded, she squinted and lowered her arm and saw a large cluster of dark, humanoid outlines against the sky. There were murmurs of surprise emitting from the crowd, and one of the figures distinguished itself from the others by stepping forward and jumping down into the box with her.
"Everybody slim it!" The stranger shouted. "I know its a bugging girl, calm down." A hand came into focus, extended to help her up. "Day one Greenie, rise and shine."
