Come With Me

Whoever you are you can come with me.

For I too have addictions that captivate me.

There are many things I'm not allowed to do- or unable.

I too have irrational fears, and curiosities that preach to me death

More often than I recall.

I too can see the future for everyone else but me.

I too know people who can't stand me.

I too have endured more than will ever matter.

I also have a loud voice that I find comfort in,

And tells me what my true passions are.

Like many liars who often come to trust each other,

I still end up claiming I'm alone.

I too shoot past windy dirt roads,

And I too flee from whatever seems too good to be true.

I too fear what I can't see and hate following the rules.

I too feel pain when I have nothing but sins inside.

Sure, I cry too when there's nothing wrong, and get excited

Even though I shouldn't anticipate what I won't remember.

Come join us you emancipators from reality,

You who wouldn't die for anything in this world,

Though we are no more than martyrs.

We'll never care for you, but you'll gain so much.

We all have something worth hearing, and

We all have something to learn.
