Hunter Apartment

Maya: *smile on her face* Mom that's amazing

Maya hugs her mother

Lilia: Congratulations *hugs Katy*

Katy: Shawn?

Maya: Dad say something

Shawn: Pregnant?

Katy: Yeah

Shawn: There is going to be a baby around

Katy: Yes

Maya: How do you feel?

Shawn: Scared, but excited

Katy: *smiles* Really

Shawn: Yeah. This is going to be great. A new step in our lives. This will be the second baby I've held

Katy: Second?

Lilia: What about Riley and Auggie

Shawn: Oh you guys don't really know. Well I left town hours after Riley was born and barely came back. I missed most of Auggie's early years.

Katy: I never knew that

Shawn: Yeah I regret it

Lilia: I've never been around a baby

Maya: This will be great for all of us

Katy: Well there is something we need to think about

Maya: Oh no

Katy: We don't have enough space in this apartment for 5 people. Child Services will be here Monday. I will have to tell them I'm pregnant. We also don't really have the best income

Maya: All of these issues could lead us to losing Lilia

Lilia: No

Katy: Yeah I'm sorry sweety

Shawn: I won't let that happen. I am getting a new job and I will tell them that. It gives amazing pay. I still have a bank account of savings that I had before we even met each other. I am pretty sure that's enough to make a down payment on a better home

Maya: We can't lose this court battle. If Mason can't have Lilia than she will be sent to foster care without us

Katy: We going to do all we can I promise

Lilia: If it doesn't work out I won't forget you guys I promise

Maya: It will workout Lilia. I want it to and I need it to.

Lilia: Thanks Maya

Maya: Hey we can raise a little money too. I'm 15 I can ask Mrs. Matthews if I can work at the bakery after school. Lilia, Auggie and his friends go around helping in the community to raise a little pocket cash maybe you can join them

Lilia: Ok I'll ask

Shawn: Let's hope this all works out

Katy: Let's eat
