Grey hat hacker: hacker that sometimes does things illegally but mostly for the fun of it. Attacks for jokes and pranks with viruses. Cracker
White hat hacker: hacker that helps with the FBI. Secret state organization etc. They just hack for the fun or for serious cases. If they hack for fun they won't put it online. Hacker.
