Could you imagine this being being taught in today's schools? People would argue that we are more advanced today, more intelligent, and that our educational system has progressed. I think in certain respects we have, but looking at the overall picture it just feels, at least to me, that our society lacks the intellectual wherewithal of yesteryear.
