"I-I'm sorry D-Daddy!!" The small hybrid cried out, diving behind the leather couch to stop Andrew's fists from hitting him.

A low, loud growl echoed out of Andrew. He made a sudden drunk grab for Luke, and besides being rather intoxicated he managed to grab Luke with one hand. Luke yelped, pulling against Andrew's grip on him.

"P-Please stop, y-you're s-scaring m-me!!" Luke cried out rather loudly. Andrew was quick to react, shoving his hand in front of Luke's mouth to silence him.

"Shut up, I don't want your mother to come screaming at me."

Luke gripped Andrew's hand, pulling it off of his mouth and running off into the hallway to his bedroom. He locked the door behind him, his breaths staggered and sharp as he put his weight against the door. Andrew came soon afterward, pounding against the door as he yelled cruel things at the boy.

Luke shrieked once Andrew's fist flew the door, right next to Luke's head. The door was then opened and Luke was thrown to the ground, his head coming in contact with his bed frame.

Andrew gripped Luke's hair before Luke had a chance to react, throwing his head against the ground and putting his lips near the boy's ear.

"Don't you ever get in my way ever again. Got it?"

He left quickly, slamming the door behind him. Luke weakly sat up, wiping his tears away with the end of his flannel shirt and climbing into his bed. He threw the blanket over his aching body, cuddling himself into the sheets.

Someday, Luke told himself.

It'll all be over.

• luke is a cat hybrid, roughly 5'4, has a small body type, and underweight (he's not anorexic or anything like that, he's been this way his whole life). in this story, he looks like luke from like 2014 and is quite shy. he can get scared easily and has had several traumatic experiences, so it takes him a while to trust people.

• calum is still his same height and has his same traits as he does. he looks like calum from late 2015, so there's quite a height difference and such.
