A man sits comfortably with in his plush seat, enjoying the sound of the ticking giant clock of his office. His glass, metal framed desk empty except for the coffee mug, which he is never seen without by his colleagues and his students, sitting on the top and his cane leaning against the side. The afternoon sun shined on the man's back, which he didn't mind at all, as he lounged in his office occasionally taking sips of his coffee, as if waiting for someone.

The man had a mess of gray hair, yet seemingly had the stature and voice of a man in his prime, and small, intelligent brown eyes. He wore a unbuttoned black blazer, that covered his buttoned black vest, and green shirt, which matched the green scarf wrapped around his neck embossed with a cross over his Adam's apple, also there were his dark green pants and black dress shoes. Finally, his shaded peculiar, circular glasses that rested on near the edge of his nose. This man, was the Headmaster of Beacon, Professor Ozpin.

He calmly took another sip of his coffee, closing his eyes and savoring its flavor, before setting it gently upon the desk's top. As soon as the mug touched the table, the elevator door to his opened as a young man at least seventeen years old stepped out.

The young man had fair colored skin, messy brown hair, and emerald green eyes. He wore a unzipped green leather jacket with a blue flower emblazoned on his right shoulder, beneath it a white v-neck shirt, along with it blue jeans and a pair of grey running shoes.

"You asked for me Uncle Oz?" The young man asked with a slightly raspy voice.

Ozpin gave a small smile before responding, "Yes, I did Marcus. I need you to get something for me."

"What is it?" Marcus asked earnestly.

Then, Ozpin's desk lit up with a hologram displayed. The hologram showed a crystal, translucent and as clear like glass, and no larger than a finger nail.

"I would like you to get this crystal." Ozpin said tenting his fingers together. "It's a rather rare crystal with supposedly mystical properties."

"What kind of properties?" Marcus asked drawing up the seat opposite to Ozpin.

"It's unknown. Due to it's rarity, people tend to only sell this crystal and end up destroying it in the process. Never has it been fully tested or examined for its properties."

"Thus it could be dangerous in the wrong hands?"

"Precisely." Ozpin said with a small clap of his hands. "There's also another reason why I called you here."

"Okay shoot."

"There seems to be a rather large appearance increase of the Creatures of Grimm."

"Okay, but couldn't we send a Huntsman local to the location to deal with it?" Marcus asked curious by the situation.

"Now that would be the ideal thing." Ozpin said standing up, obviously anticipating this response from his bright nephew. "However, I feel like this would be the chance for you to... what was the expression? 'Shake off the rust?'"

Marcus immediately rubbed his nape in embarrassment. He knew fully well, that he has taken a lax of his training, using his semblance to keep away from the teachers that his uncle has asked to teach him.
