A Closed Door

A Closed Door:

All doors have to be closed eventually.

Just like how every mind will eventually shut down.

Closed doors are like people.

You shut people out from yourself just like you would shut the door in someone's face.

I tend to shut people out.

I'm in my own little world half of the time.

People hurt me all the time.

So, when I shut you out, out of no where it's because I don't want to get hurt again.

I have my own weaknesses.

Everyone has weaknesses.

But mine occur more often.

To make the pain go away, I go into depression and cut.

I'm depressed all the time , but I haven't cut in a while.

I'm proud of myself...somewhat.

Now when I'm depressed, I simply ignore everyone.

It's so much easier just to ignore people then to hurt myself.

And that's why closed doors need to be opened.

So that I don't shut out the people I care about.
