I lunged left and rolled out of the way of the chimera that currently wanted to consume my spine. "Duncan! Chris! Now!" My two friends jumped out of the trees they were hiding in, in an attempt at an ambush. Duncan was the big one, about 6 feet tall and muscular, a son of hepheastus. Chris, who I had known for longer, was still taller than me (I'm starting to notice a pattern here) but more lean than Duncan, with short black hair and burning green eyes, as he was a son of Poseidon. The chimera easily brushed off Chris, sending him flying in a spiral pattern into a rock, which he collided with in a loud "CRACK" that sounded just as painful as it was. Duncan managed to get a sword strike in on the beast, but just like Chris, he was knocked aside. I noticed the air above the charging chimera waver, and I grinned. Kataigita uncloaked above the charging monster and drove her shining celestial bronze blade into its back, and it turned into dust with a loud screech. She landed on the ground and blew a strand of purple hair out of her eyes as she sheathed her sword. "Losers." She exclaimed as she jabbed Chris's clearly broken spine with a needle full of Amber. Amber is a massively improved version of the godly substance known as "Nectar" engineered by a guy we call Intel, because we get our spines broken and limbs torn off a lot. Only us Demi-gods can handle the stuff without dying, which is a shame considering how useful it is. Oh yeah, did I mention that we're Demi-gods? That means that one of our parents was a Greek deity, and the other was plain old human. I swear I am being completely serious. Chris's spine reformed with a "click" and he sat up off of the blood covered Boulder. "Argargepootiskwjasandvich" he grumbled. Just then, my comm buzzed with an annoying static, and G1 Teddy patched through. "Gen 5, do you report? Teddy are you there?" I sighed and turned to my friends. And Kataigita. "Hold on a sec, gotta take this." I put two fingers on my comm unit behind my ear to activate it. "Ja wohl. This is Gen 5. What's the situation." G1 responded in a worried voice, "It's Demon Chris. He showed up in a newly discovered dimension, to a Teddy who doesn't know about any of this. He doesn't know how dangerous Demon Chris is. If we don't help him, he's dead for sure. You and your team are the only ones available. I'm opening a dimension bridge, and I'll be there as soon as I can." The comm line cut out and a green rift opened in front of us with an abrupt zap. Kataigita kicked me in the heel and asked, "What's going on bolts-for-brains." "No time to explain," I responded. "We have to run through a dimensional portal to our almost guaranteed deaths." Chris and Duncan had joined us by now, and were listening in. "Sounds fun" grinned Duncan. "Let's go". We entered the portal to dimension 13.
