Wake Up

The next morning K.C woke up feeling smothered and super hot. Like, she was sweating it was so hot. She made a face as she tried to move, feeling a grip around her waist tighten and another around her arm. Looking down, Jo's hair was in a mess, sprayed out everywhere while the lanky girl was wrapped into K.C's side. She also noticed Roman's large arms wrapped around her waist and felt his breath on her neck. His hair was for once, free of leave in conditioner and she had to bite back a laugh at how poofy it was. "Quit laughing at me." He croaked lightly, leaving light kisses on her neck and giving her goosebumps. "I wasn't fluff ball." He huffed, "On the inside." She smiled. It didn't matter anymore that she felt sweaty and gross, it felt right with these two at her side. The only other time she felt like this was when she had her team together, or all of her uncles in one place, which hadn't happened in a long time. The fact that she had fallen asleep, stayed asleep, and didn't scare the shit out of them had her baffled. She didn't even have a nightmare now that she thought about it. Sighing, she snuggled down into her pillow and into Jo and Roman, closing her eyes again and enjoying the comfort. The redhead only had two more days and she would be leaving for six months. She felt panicked at the thought of leaving, especially leaving Jo. She wasn't about to let Roman know that. A feeling in the pit of her stomach told her that mess was far from over. Hopefully it would all be routine and she could talk to them everyday. "You got any plans today?" He whispered, feeling her shrug. "I need to spend some time with Randy and the old men before I have to leave."  Roman groaned inwardly, he really just wanted to stay locked in this room for two days with his girls. One of them at least got to stay now. They both felt Jo start to stir, opening her eyes and looking at K.C. "I had a dream you left and didn't come back." Her face looked sad and it almost broke the older woman's heart. She smiled and placed her other hand on the little girls head, "I always come back sweetie, no worries. I'm going to call you guys anytime I can, we can video chat and I can show you where I am." Jo relaxed and looked excited, "That would be really cool." "I promise both of you, I'm the last thing we should worry about. Keeping you Jo, and getting your brothers safe is what matters. I'll make some phone calls today and see if I can get them on the phone for you, okay honey?" Jo smiled and nodded, hopping off the bed and heading to the bathroom. As soon as Roman heard the door click shut, he rolled over on top of K.C with a devilish grin, his hair tickling her face as she scrunched her nose. He stared at her for a moment, he always loved the way she looked in the morning. It had been very few times they got to wake up together the first time around. "Why are you starin at me?" He smirked, "I got two of the most beautiful beings on the planet." She snorted and rolled her eyes, "Okay, Mr. Smooth." He cocked his eyebrow, "You could take a compliment, ya know." She sighed, resting her hands on his large biceps. "You have to let me get used to this, okay? I love all of it, dont get me wrong, I'm just awkward when it comes to all this. Even more so than before." He smiled, leaning down to kiss the redhead slowly. "I dont want you to get used to it. Might ever be the only way I can make you blush." He hissed suddenly as he felt her grab all she could between his legs, making him growl into her neck. "I highly doubt that, big dawg." Hearing the door start to open, she quickly pushed him off of her as Jo made her way back into the room. "Okay, Jo. So, I have to go spend some time with Randy and some of my uncles today, so while I'm doin that, why don't you think of anywhere in town you want to eat dinner at and we can go when I get back?" Jo smiled and nodded her head, "Can the girls come too?" K.C nodded back at her, "I'll ask Aunt Steph." Jo smiled big and jumped onto her dad, "Well, we can go hang out with Sethie then." K.C smirked, "I hope he knows, I'll never call him anything else now." Roman laughed, "Why dont we invite them? I'll take you and the girls another night, Jo. Why dont we take Dean, Renae, and Seth?" Jo's face lit up like he just had the best idea in the world. "YESSS!!!" She even pointed in the air like Daniel Bryan, making both of them laugh. Never in a million years did she think this would have happened after she left. So far, Roman was still the sweet guy she knew he was, but he was even better now. She knew he just needed help getting the WWE fans to notice it. Most of them were coming around. She just hoped Vince didnt do anything stupid with him while she was gone. The redhead loved Vince to pieces, but he was king of stupid ideas sometimes. She would come up with her own plan while she was gone, it worked for Randy and John, well, it worked for Randy anyway. John changed and buried himself without realizing it. Either way, it was all going to change when she got back that was for damn sure.
  "What are you thinkin about?" Roman was waving his hand in front of her face, shaking her from her thoughts. "Makin plans, duh." He chuckled and shook his head, shooing her off to the shower as he turned on cartoons for Jo, who had curled up in the chair with one of her books for school.
   "Daddy?" Roman looked up from his phone to his daughter. "Do you really love K.C?" He tried to hide his smile, "Yeah, I always have baby." Jo smiled, "I think you should marry her." Roman chuckled this time, "Things like that take time Jo, but I promise if I do, you'll be the first to know baby." Jo just smiled and snuggled back into her book and into her own world. Shaking his head, he snuck into the bathroom to at least shave and brush his teeth while she showered.
  "Really, Roman?" She heard him snicker, "Relax, I'm just brushing my teeth and trimming my beard woman." He didn't even want to glance over at the shower curtain or he would be in there in a heartbeat. "Hand me a towel." He seen her tattoo'd arm poke out from the curtain, catching the towel he tossed. "Are you done?" She didn't hear him say anything but she could see his outline through the curtain. Stepping out, she rolled her eyes when she noticed he was standing there with her clothes and a smirk on his face. She tucked the towel in with a smirk of her own. "Nice try." He shrugged and kissed her forehead, "I'll finish what I started." His voice sent chills and it was all she could do to hold herself together when his hand gripped one of her butt cheeks. "Clock is tickin'." She smirked, making sure to slip on her underwear and bra sneakily under the towel. "I'll make you miss that plane, don't try me."  She snorted, "Hell no, I ain't goin back to the brig for your dick." She joked quietly incase Jo could hear. Roman smirked, pulling her close after she pulled on her shirt and kissed her softly.
     K.C stepped out moments later, dressed in jeans and a tshirt, as always. Roman hadn't missed that almost every shirt she wore while she was home, was a WWE shirt. "Are those all you own?" Her one for today was, haha, the Seth Freakin'  Rollins shirt and she smirked. "They give them to dad for free, he gets them in my size and sends them to me." They both laughed. "Okay, I'll see ya'll in a few hours." She leaned over and kissed Roman, "You still look beautiful, even if you're in my best friends shirt." She laughed against his lips and kissed him again. Leaning up, she hugged Jo and kissed the top of her head before grabbing her phone and wallet. "Ya'll stay outta trouble." Roman smirked as she winked and closed the door behind her. God damn I'm gunna be a mess when she leaves. He sighed sadly, running his hand through his hair before deciding to get ready for the day as well.
