The one thing I always remembered about going to school was that everyone hated me. The first school that I went to was an all werewolf school and everyone there always called me the dirty sorceress scum bag who doesn't deserve to be associated with the mighty werewolf gene. The next school was all witches and there I was called a filthy mutt who didn't deserve to be graced with the gift of magic. Even at a human school I didn't fit in at all. I was the odd ball who didn't make any friends and couldn't invite people to her house because it was in the outskirts of town where they were scared to go. I was short and skinny and didn't fit the typical beauty standard.
After awhile my parents gave up and decided that they would just homeschool me. But that didn't pardon me from pack or coven activities. The war between witches and wolves still waged around the world, however when my werewolf father learned that he had a witch mate he immediately moved with her to one of the towns that was fairly at peace. And with it being a werewolf/witch/human town, it included drama. So when word got around that the King of Werewolves was coming to town to find his mate, everyone except for the humans started freaking out. And today was the day.
The King was due to come at 18:00 tonight and attend dinner with the pack members. He would then mingle and see if he can find his mate. Since it is required that all mateless pack members were required to go, I was being forced. However, it has been six years since I last attended a public pack event. They made fun of me so much, I think I'll just play their game and win.

The black dress I wore clung to my body. It was mostly shear, but covered what needed to be covered with some extra coverage in between, and stopped at my ankles. I wore black booted heals and my long brown hair fell in waves. I put on a dark purple lipstick and dark eye makeup. I also wore a different ring with a weird symbol on each finger and my crescent moon tattoo, which is located on my upper arm, added the final pizzazz. I looked like the witch freak that they truly thought that I was.
I descended the stairs and quickly left the house. I climbed into my black Jeep and headed to the pack house. The house was like a mansion where the Alpha and Beta families lived along with a few other people. Meetings, fancy dinners, mating ceremonies, and large events were also held in the house. The King would be staying there tonight.
I parked my car and walked into the house. It was 17:50, so dinner would start soon. I noticed all the girls my age dressed in skimpy clothes. I also noticed Alpha Warren looking anxious. I could feel multiple different energies in the room, that all combined into one big sweaty ball. It was nauseating.
I walked further into the grand entryway and then into the living room where everyone was currently waiting. People were talking and laughing but they were also serious and scared. I smelt and felt the desperation of at least fifty mateless girls and immediately wanted to hurl. And then I just sat down on one of the many couches and listened.
"Ugh, freaky witch girl just walked in." Snarky teenage girl voice number one said.
"Really, where?" Way to eager teenage girl number two asked.
"On the couch. What's she even doing here anyway? She's not a true wolf, nobody would ever accept the mutant as a queen. I mean, look at her. She just creepily sits there in her goth clothes, probably conjuring a spell to kill all of us or some shit." Snarky teenage girl voice number one said.
"Naomi, it's so good to see you here." The Alpha suddenly said, standing right in front of me. I stood and smiled, shaking his hand.
"It's good to be here. I don't often see this many pack members." I replied kindly. The Alpha was one of the few people who were actually kind to me.
