Another Mission

~Two months later~
Lavi knocked on Kanda's door then walked. He was met with Mugen flying into the wall right by his head. "What. Do. You. Want?" He seethed, he just gotten home from a month long mission and just wanted to relax and hold (Y/n). Lavi laughed slightly. "Lenalee sent me to see if you wanted to eat. You guys haven't came out yet." Kanda sighed and looked at his sleeping wife he he didn't think they were asleep that long. "Yeah. I'll wake her up. Just get out." Lavi quickly made it out. Kanda nudged her gently and spoke softly. "Oi. Chibi.. wake up." (Y/n) stirred and looked at him sleepily. "Hmmm... what time is it?" He smiled softly. "Time to eat. Come on." They slowly got out of bed and made their way to the cafeteria.

Once they entered their friends already had their favorite foods ordered for them. Soba noodles for Kanda and (f/f) for (Y/n). They sat next to their friends. The group stared at the two. "Nani ka?" Kanda spoke up. "Well... you just got back.. and you haven't said anything.." He shrugged. "What do you want me say?" Lenalee shrugged then a finder walked in. "Lenalee, Allen, Kanda, Lavi, Mirana, Krory. Kumoi wants to see you." Kanda looked beyond pissed. "Why?" The finder backed up slowly. "F-for a m-m-mission." Kanda stood up and stormed off to Kumoi's office. "Oh fuck no." The gang followed him, including (Y/n).

Kanda opened the door. "What the hell. I just got back!!! What is so damn important that I have to leave as well." Kumoi sighed looked up as the rest of the group walked in, (Y/n) grabbed Kanda's hand and took mugen away to keep Kanda from killing Kumoi. "There's an exorcist. Who betrayed us... he's innocence has turned him... well you know... I need you all to go... but Lenalee will stay to watch over (Y/n)." Kanda growled, reaching for Mugen but it was out of his reach. "Why can't I?!" Kumoi sighed and stood up. "Your skills are needed. I wouldn't send you. if they weren't. Now you all leave today. Go get ready." Everyone walked out. Well (Y/n) Dragged Kanda out. "Kanda... calm down. I know it sucks but you'll be back soon okay?" Kanda placed a hand on her stomach gently. "You don't know that... the last mission was supposed to last a week and what happened? I was gone for a month.. What if I'm gone longer?" She stood on her tip toes and kissed his nose. "Then you're gone longer you can't do anything about it. It'll be okay." He sighed and kissed her forehead. "Alright come on." He walked to their room and began packing.
Kanda's pov:
I packed everything I needed. Chibi was helping me. My eyes ended up wondering to her stomach, where our child was growing. There was a slight bump, not a big one but it was still there. I didn't want to miss any more then I had to.. I didn't want to come back and the baby be almost ready to be born or already born... "Yu?" The sound of her voice cut me from my thoughts. I looked at her, she grabbed my hand and put it on her stomach pressing on it gently. "Yu. I am not that far along. The baby and I will be fine. You'll be back before you know it." I sighed softly and kneeled down in front of her, kissing her stomach gently then rested my forehead on it. "Alright, alright... just promise you'll be careful..." She played with my ponytail and whispered. "I will be... I promise. Now...come on.. I'll walk with you." I stood up and grabbed my bag then grabbed her hand. We walked out hand in hand.
