His Queen (Toffee X Reader)

Ch.1 Royal ball

You rode inside your family carriage to your cousins castle. Apparently there was a ball going on for your 18th birthday. Why? because star wanted to have a ball for you. So, being the loving cousin you are, agreed to go. On one condition, the ball has to be a mascara ball. Star and her parents agreed. 

so here you were, on your way to the ball, dressed in a (F/c) dress and a (f/c) mask on. You had your head leaning against the window with a bored expression. Your mother and father were sitting across from you, chatting to themselves.

Your bored expression soon turned into excitement as the castle came into view. You could see Star jumping up and down in excitement from your Window. A smile made it way into your lips as the carriage stopped.

Your butler opened the door for you. You held your dress up so you wouldn't trip but it didn't help when Star tackled you into a bear hug. You smiled and your younger cousin.

"I'm so happy to see you again, (Y/n)!!" She exclaimed loudly. You smiled down at her as she let you go of her hug. You straightened out your gown and smiled again. "It's is good to you again, Star" you said, intertwining your arms together as you two talked into the castle

Your mother sighed and followed you two. Making sure nothing bad happens. That was until she lost you in the crowd. She sighed and left to talk with her brother and his wife, Queen Moon.

You and star went into her room. You took off your mask and sat on her chair, looking into the vanity mirror. You were redoing your makeup as star was boucing on her bed. "I wish you could come over more often" she said. "Yeah, but you know how mom and dad are. They'll never let me unless I finish all my lesson, which they know I wont" you said and sighed. "We should get going. The ball should be starting now" you said as you stood up and placed your mask on again. Star nodded and smiled, tugging on your hand and running, making you almost trip each time. She let go then smiled at you. "Race ya!" She yelled and began running. You chased after but bumped into someone. You tell on your butt and look up. A gray hand was held out to you. You put your smaller one in its huge one as the figure helped you up. You curtsied. "My apologies. I should have Been looking where I was going" you sand and looked up at the male. He bowed and nodded. "I as well, miss..." he said, waiting for your introduction. "Princess (Y/n). But you can just call me (Y/n)" you said and smiled. The male smiled back, showing sharp teeth. "Toffee" he said and began walking off, that is, until you grabbed his sleeve. "Your a monster aren't you?" You asked quietly. Toffee nodded. "Yes. I am curious why you are not afraid" "well. I believe monsters and mewnie people can live together. Everyone should be treated alike. No matter the race" you said and looked up at the male. Toffee nodded and began walking off again. You walked the opposite way towards star.

"I won" she said smiling. You giggled and made your way to the stairs.

You two got to the stairs and elegantly walked down them. All eyes were on you and star. Your masks were glimmering in the spot light. Making you two look even more elegant. People made a path for you two as you made your way to your seats. You say beside your mother and next to star.

An hour has passed and people were dancing. Your mother and father were dancing and so was stars parents. You looked over the door and saw a boy with a sugar skull mask. "Star! Star!?" He said while looking around. He made eye contact with you. You pointed a thumb beside you at the bored looking Star. The kid nodded and made his way to star.

"Your friends here" you said, nudging the blonde. She smiled and ran off to see her friend. You sighed boredly and watched people dance, before a hand was held in front of you, again. You looked up and saw toffee smiling down at you. "Care for a dance?" He said. You nodded and and took his hand as he guided you to the floor.

You two danced carefully as people began noticing. They made room for the both of you. Toffee twirled you around as you smiled softly. You were finally enjoying yourself before some one ruined it.

"Monster!!" They exclaimed. Everyone began running out the door. Toffee let you go and bowed. "I'm afraid out dance must be cut short" he said and left. The royal guards began attacking  the monsters. You saw one of the monsters wounded on the ground. You ran over to them. He had a major cut in his leg and a arrow sticking out of his arm.

"This will hurt. So beat with me" you said and grabbed the arrow. "I'll count to three ok?" You said. He nodded "one...two..three!" You said and pulled it out as he yelped. You tore a piece of clothing off your dress and bandaged his wounded.

The monster looked at you curiously before some one yelled. "Get her you fool" you froze a bit. "I'm sorry" he said and pressed a pressure point. Then you passed out in the monster arms as he carried you through a green portal.
