I immediately open my eyes because of a very loud sound but quickly close it again because of the bright sun rays...

"Oh! You're awake at last! Akala ko patay ka na eh."

Its Marco..

"What the hell Marco! What are you doing here this early?" I iritang tanong ko sa kanya.. Shit! My head! Feels that it will explode any seconds from now!

"Yeah indeed what the hell! Shit dude! You look wasted! He is kind of shrieking while pointing his damn finger on me..

"Yeah thanks for stating the obvious captain Sherlock!"  I retorted dryly

"No I mean it dude! Akala ko talaga patay ka na kagabi nung sunduin kita sa bar na yon, you are not even moving kaya dito na ako matulog.. I almost brought you to a freaking Morgue! Seriously Edward 30 shots of tequila? What are you thinking? Papatayin mo ba sarili mo? "

"How I wish... " Mahinang tugon ko sa kanya.. Yeah, how I wish natuluyan na lang ako kesa sa ganito..

Natahimik si Marco at umupo sa tabi ko.

"I guess it didn't work well last night?" Mahinang tanong niya sa akin.

Napangiti ako ng mapait at umiling.. Nanlalabo na naman ang mata ko.. I look up so the tears will not fall..

"Lahat ng pinakita niya is just for a show Marco, and I stupidly believe  on everything thinking that she feels the same way.." I can hear the shake and defeat in my voice..

"Turns out that I am the only one who fall on this damn game and you know what I lost in the process? My heart.. Because she never feel the same way Marco.. She never feel the same way.."

I didn't noticed that the tears are flowing freely in my eyes.. I just noticed it when I feel it wetness on my hands..

"Sorry dude, naiintindihan kita but you need to brace yourself.."

I give him my most confused look..

"Contract signing natin ngayon for renewal and Ate May will be there with us, so you need to get ready.. I'll wait for you.."

He tap my back at lumabas na siya kwarto ko.. Napapikit ako ng madiin at napasandal sa headboard ng kama ko..

Shit! Of all days bakit ngayon pa ito natapat! I indeed needed to brace myself..

Marco is the one who is driving. While we are in a car, my phone suddenly ring and my manager's name registered on the screen..

"Hel-"

"Where the hell are you Edward?" He sound like he is panicking..

"Mang, is there a problem?"

"Yes! Malaking malaki! Get your butt here as soon as you can!"

"Marco and I are on the way, what is it Mang?" I asked worriedly..

"Just go here Edward! We really need you here!"

Hindi pa man kami nakakarating ni Marco sa office ng big bosses sinalubong na kami ni Kisses na umiiyak..

"Kisses? Why? What happen? Alalang tanong ni Marco sa kanya.. But instead of answering him ako ang hinarap niya..

"Edward, ate May wants to quit showbiz.. Hindi na raw siya mag-rerenew ng contract..
