Chapter 1: Disguises

Vale A113's POV

The Time Displacement device dropped me somewhere in a huge city I identified as 'Vale' I looked around making sure no one spotted me. First things first I need some clothes, just 'cause I'm a machine doesn't mean I don't care about the kids and their innocence.

I walked through the city and soon came to a small alleyway. I used my infared vision to spot a man in there. I went in and found a biker smoking a cigarette at the sight of me he jumped back in surprise.

Biker: WHOA! Holy shit! Dude you miss washday yesterday?

Me: Washday?

Biker: Uhh yeah. Washday! The day where you wash your clothes cause they're dirty! And you wear them the day after!

Me: I don't have any clothes.

Biker: Well shit you're weird.

Me: Why don't you give me your clothes.

Biker: The fuq man!

Me: Please hand your attire over.

Biker: Fuck you dude *takes out pistol*

He then fired two rounds at my chestplate it pierced my outer flesh but I was otherwise unharmed, I looked at the gunshot 'wounds' then back at him.

Biker:😨

Before he could even think of running I used all my strength to punch his lower abdomen I then shoved my fist through his flesh and crushed his heart. I ripped my fist out, it was encovered in crimson liquid. The biker wait scratch that, his corpse fell to the ground I then removed his shoes and measured it, it was the perfect fit. I slipped them on along with his shirt, pants, leather jacket and of course his shades. I decided looking like a greaser could be a good disguise.

Elsewhere...

Another orb of glowing light eminated from behind a highway supporter column. An unlucky police officer decided to check on it and exited his car.

Police Officer: This is Austin I got a minor situation over here. Some sort of electrical disturbance. No sign of any kids though could be one of those strange phenomenon. Could you send someone over to check it out?

Radioman: 10-4 Austin.

The cop then used his flashlight to check the scene and didn't notice a bare-naked man walk up behind him. Of course it wasn't a man at all. The officer heard the footsteps and turned just in time to see the Atlesian Knight-1000 form a blade using his mimetic poly-alloy.

Police Officer: HURK!!! Ughhh....

The Knight looked around just to be sure no one saw anything. He bent down and unholstered the cop's Berreta. Cocking it and checking one more time. He then looted Austin's clothes.

Radioman: Austin? What happened is evrything okay? Do we still need to check the area for possible crime?

The machine picked up the radio and made sure his position wasn't comprimised.

AK-1000: Negative, situation is A-Okay. No evidence of any possible criminal activity. You do not need to send anyone.

Radioman: 10-4 Austin.

The AK-1000 then entered the police cruiser and drove off.
