"Remember don't talk to strangers, don't take things from strangers, when in trouble ask An Adult for help, always​ use the bath-"

"Mom! I'm in high school, not pre-school!" I groaned, rolling my eyes and picking at my breakfast. For some odd reason I lost my appetite.

"Sorry, sweetie. You know how much I love and want to protect you." She said walking up to me and pinching my checks. I swatted her hands away and continued to pretend to eat my food.

"Okay, you have 5 minutes to finish and get out this house for school! I have to go now okay, Sweetie! Love you!" She said walking out the house, leaving me there alone. Finally!

I threw the rest of my breakfast out and grabbed my bag from the floor. I slipped it on and then walked out the door making my way towards the school on foot. I have a driver license but I don't like driving unless it's someone else driving me.

I finally got to school and standing near the entrance was my best friend, Veronica.

"Hey, bestie!" She greeted me, throwing her arm across my shoulders. I'm not short, but Veronica is pretty tall! 6 feet to be exact! I'm 5'6 on the other hand.

"How was your morning?" She asked as we reached my locker.

"Shitty, you know, the usual." I said grabbing my social studies book and shutting my locker after.

"Oh, come on! I bet it wasn't that bad!" She said wrapping her arm around me again as we walked to our first class. We share most of the same classes and that's how we met each other. I was lonley and she was loud. like that we instantly clicked. They do say opposites attract, and she's my opposite.

"She was reminding me of things not to do. Like not forgoing to use the bathroom! I mean come on, Veronica! I'm in high school! I think I can remember to use the bathroom all on my own!" I said rolling my eyes, making sure to use lots of hand gestures to get my point across.

"She just loves you." Veronica chuckled as we walked into the classroom and I just rolled my eyes but I don't think she realized.

As we enter my eyes fall on someone that was sitting in the back. No one usually comes earlier than me and Veronica...

He had his hoodie on over his head and his head was laying on the desk. Everything about him from his all black clothes and the fact that he was sitting in the back gave off a strange aroma.

"Who's that?" I whispered to Veronica as we sat in the seat up front, not wanting to go near the wierd guy.

"Don't know his know but Everyone talks about him because he never talks to anyone. To me he's weird but people say he's hot but I'll have to see it for myself to believe it." She said looking forward as everyone else entered the class, but I kept staring at him. Just Like we did, no one else sat in the back, too afraid to go near him.

"Good morning, children!" The teacher, ms. Christina, yelled as she entered the classroom. "I've got a fun activity for you guys and i know you all will love it! It's a project about Greek mythology! We're going to be pairing in a group of 4 and you guys have to pick a mythology creature to make a project up about! You have to give its background and origin like where it came from, you know, stuff like that! You also need to make your project look nice! Make it uniqe! Different! Fun right?" She squealed as everyone else groaned.

"I don't care what you guys think! This is the easiest project I will be giving you guys and since you all wanted to groan I'm going to assign you partners!" She said pulling out a clipboard with, I'm guessing, the names of the partners on it.
