Do you remember,
when I was ten,
and you had just turned eleven.
We would sneak into the cinemas,
And giggle at the girls and boys.
How they held hands,
and how ridiculous they looked.
Do you remember
when we finally got caught,
the usher was chasing us out.
You grabbed my hand
and we ran out, our popcorn flying every which way,
We laughed and laughed for hours,
and you didn't let my hand go.
Do you remember,
When I was fourteen,
And you had just turned fifteen,
And we actually payed to go.
And you held my hand,
But this time we walked,
We weren't running from anyone.
Do you remember the men,
Coming in barking at us,
"Stay in our seats!"
They screamed,
And we were so scared,
We did.
Do you remember the smoke,
And the screaming of the others,
When we fell out of our seats,
And laid low on the floor.
When I shouted out your name,
And you'd said that we'd get out alive,
But only one of us got out.

PoetryI used to write poetry. I found a bunch of poems in my closet, and decided to post them here. Some sad, some happy. New, old, and everything in between! Just a whole lot of poems, thrown into one story.
