The typical werewolf you know from folklore. They turn into wolf-like creatures at the full moon, and have heightened senses and strength in both human and wolf form. When the moon is not full, Lycans can partially change, but are not able to fully transform. Lycanthropy is a curse that acts and spreads like a virus, but the human immune system is strong, and one must be near death in order to go through the change, and they must have the will to not die through the first change. Lycans are similar to walkers, only walkers can control their change.
