We all want out
Out of the trouble we're in
We all want out
Out before it all begins
We're sitting in school
Trying to play it cool
But we all want out of the din
The exit sign glares down
Down on your weary eyes
The exit sign glares down
Down on your pitiful lies
Oh those lies so tragic
And also quite graphic
But still trapped here with no goodbyes
The teacher is waiting
Waiting for your great explanation

Waiting for that one true confession
The confession that you
And your horrible crew
Are trying to slip through distraction
So we all want out
As that sign glares down
While your teacher awaits
But you can't cry or shout
For you're stuck here awhile
In School
