Exit Stories

Have you ever thought of escaping reality? How far would you go to replace your present life with one you had always dreamed of? This book will not answer any of those questions, but it might perceive the true side of humans need to escape. It might help one visualize why some people decide to take drastic measures to find an exit from suffering, or that the main character might help you understand yourself better. I decided not to idealize anything. I don't like sugarcoating my work for the sake of popularity. I compared the exit to an addiction. At first, you feel euphoric, but as the time passes, you begin to grow dissatisfied or even anxious to some measure, that only digs a bigger hole under you, making it harder to jump out. In conclusion, I genuinely hope many of you will enjoy my work and that some of you will see your mirror in the character of K. I will be glad if you leave comments under my book. "You know something! Just-" He scoffed in impatience, curling in on himself slowly, "God, Pomni. I- I just-" Pomni rested her hand on his shoulder, easing him of his greater tension as his legs sat agape. The jester sighed, "I know you've lost some pretty important people here," the jester looked as Jax crossed his arms. "Look, I get that you're trying to forget about this, but that's probably the worst that you can do." Jax scowled at Pomni, "What do you know?" He paused, getting up and walking forwards slightly, "You know nothing about me. You know nothing about this place you just got here." "I know that, but-" Jax looked at the jester, his pupils small only to frighten Pomni. No one knows it's all out of fear though. Fear of what will happen when that something or someone will no longer be. He respected that, surprisingly enough. But he can't find happiness in just being her friend. He wants more from her and therefor it becomes his mission to change her mind. Will it be possible? Will she let her heart win or is her fear of losing too strong?
