Aw, I thought.

The next was Kevin. Austin introduced him as the nerd of the group. Although he did look like a typical nerd, Kevin had corrected Austin and said he was the brains of the group and not a nerd. I laughed at that.

Last but definitely not least was Zach. Zach was hot, charming and he had a very attractive body.

But Paul's body was more attractive.

I didn't even need Austin to tell me that Zach was a fuckboy because it was written all over him. He was wearing a very tight T-shirt so you can imagine how visible those abs and biceps were. I could literally see his eight pack.

But it had nothing on Paul's eight pack.

"Hello, sweet cheeks." Zach greeted me as he smirked. His voice was deep and sexy. But not as sexy as Paul's.

Wait, why do I keep comparing him to Paul?

I decided not to bother myself about that. Since it was a very hot day, we all decided to go outside and sit next to the pool. Tina and Austin brought snacks and beers. I was not really keen on drinking alcohol that day so I took juice.

"Guys, let's all jump in." This was Austin speaking and there was no way that I was going to jump into the pool.

"Yeah, let's go." Zach and Austin both jumped in and Liam followed after them. Kevin looked from us to his friends and back to us. It was like he didn't know whether to jump in or to sit there with us, but his indecisiveness did not last for long because Liam pulled him at his feet and he fell onto the water. I was just glad that he wasn't hurt after that.

"I'm okay," he said as he pulled himself out of the water. Liam pulled him back in and Tina and I were laughing so hard. Before we knew it, we were both screaming our lungs out when we felt Austin and Zach carrying us bridal style and jumping into the pool with us. We got wet instantly.

No not that kind of wet, silly. The other wet. We were wet because of the water.

The guys were all laughing at us and we were both trying so hard to put on a serious face but we couldn't so we just laughed as well. The day went on with us playing and swimming around the pool.

When we had gotten out, Tina and I went up to her room to find me a change of clothes because I had gotten all my clothes wet. I settled on a blue baggy dress that covered almost my whole body - down to my ankles. I liked the dress, it made me feel comfortable. Thus, Tina was never getting the dress back.

Soon after I had showered and I was comfortably clothed in my dress, I bid everyone goodbye and I left.

"Text me when you get there!" Tina hollered as I entered into the cab. My day had really gone well. I'd had a good time. I hadn't, in a long time, spent the whole day out of the apartment and not with Paul. In only a matter of minutes, the cab had already reached my destination and I hopped out of the vehicle.

Fast, I paced to the elevator. I was excited. I wanted to boast to Paul about my day and all the fun I had without him. The elevator was taking a very long time. It reached my destination floor eventually and I rushed to brag to Paul but all that enthusiasm was drained out of me when I took in the sight before me. Bottles of liquor were scattered across the living room. The coffee table was also full with other liquor bottles. Luke was seated with a girl on his lap and Paul was with his own girl too on the other couch. And the worst part? He was playing her a song on his guitar.

I didn't know how to react so I just stood there for a while, watching them and the painful thing was that they did not even notice me. A lot of feelings rushed into my head. I felt betrayed, lied to. Hurt even.

Paul didn't like people hearing his music. He didn't like playing nor singing in front of people and now he was singing to this girl. The only person that he played for was me and only me. What hurt me the most was knowing that I had been a fool for thinking that I was special to him. The fact that I had found him playing a song for another girl when he was just teaching me to play yesterday was what broke me.

I was still frozen on my feet. I was looking at them. I still had no idea of how to react because Paul and I were not really dating. We were only a fake couple. Then his bitch turned and saw me. She smiled.

At that moment Paul looked up and noticed that I was there

At that moment Paul looked up and noticed that I was there. He looked at me with ashamed eyes and attempted to stand up but he couldn't. He was drunk.

"Chloe, I ..." he paused, "it's not what it looks like. Please hear me out." He tried to explain but I put up my hand gesturing for him to stop. Tears were already starting to form in the corners of my eyes.

"Save it." I told him and I stormed out of the apartment.
