"What do you want?", I was annoyed. "That's a very rude way to greet your friends" he said. "Oh, so we're friends now?", I questioned. "What? You thought we were more than that, Chloe? Just say the word and I can make your dreams come true," his badboy attitude was back. "Hold your horses cowboy. Let's not get ahead of ourselves now" I told him. "Stop raining in my parade, Chloe. I'm having fun here."

I knew he was not going to stop anytime soon and so I decided to surprise him by playing along because, well... two can play at that game. "Is talking on the phone your only idea of fun, Paul?" I asked him. He was quiet for a short while and I could sense the shock he was feeling but he quickly regained his composure and said, "Oh Chloe you have no idea of how many different kinds of fun I know but, to save time, I could just come down there and show you one by one " his voice was now seductively slow and I could feel my whole body shivering. I wanted to tell him to come but I feared I'd be taking myself straight into the lion's den.

"Chloe, are you there?" he interrupted my thoughts. "Yeah, I'm here" I breathed. I knew I had to answer him sooner or later but I wasn't sure of what to say to him. "So... should I come?" he spoke.
"Uh... sure. Don't you mind driving in the middle of the night though?" I couldn't hide the worry in my voice. "Relax, I'm more than experienced in this field. I'll be there in ten minutes" he said. "Could you please bring your guitar, too" I asked. I knew I was taking advantage of his good mood and it worked because he agreed to bring it along.

I dropped the call and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and I ran a comb through my hair. I don't usually try to impress others but with Paul I just always feel the need to look nice for him, don't ask why because I don't know either. I didn't bother to change since I was already wearing a vest and cotton shorts. I received a call from Paul who announced his arrival and I went and let him in. From the moment I opened the door I couldn't help but stare at him.

He looked breathtaking in his effortless outfit. He was dressed in black sweatpants and a sweatshirt. His messy hair contributed to his attractive self and I also noticed that he shaved his beard. "You like what you see, Chloe?" shit! He caught me staring. I needed a good comeback and my mind couldn't produce any. "What? No. Come on, what's there to like here?" was all my stupid brain could come up with.

"So, are we just gonna stand here all night or are you actually going to let me in?" I had totally forgotten about that. You can't blame me, I mean it's not everyday I get a visit from a hot, sexy and rich guy. I opened the door widely and he came in. He started looking around and that was when the insecurities settled in. What was I thinking bringing a rich boy to this crap of a place? I'm sure this whole place is the same size as his own bedroom.

I sat on the couch and so did he. There was awkward silence and the tension was thick. "Would you like juice, coffee, tea or something else?" I offered. "Depends on what you mean by something else" he said scooting closer. "By that I mean nothing" I told him. "Oh, but I do want something, Chloe" we were now too close to each other and he was coming closer, "and what could that be?" I asked. "You" he said and his face was only a few inches away from mine and my eyes were now focusing on his inviting lips. "I'm afraid that's not on today's menu, sir" I breathed. "When do you think I can get it then?"
our lips were almost touching and his minty breath fanned my lips....
