Chloe's POV

"You're going in that?" He gave me a disapproving look.

"Yeah. What's wrong with what I'm wearing?"

I saw nothing wrong with what I was wearing and I didn't know what Paul's problem was. Although my shorts were pretty short, there was still nothing wrong with it. I was dressed in denim bum shorts and a casual top. I also had my straight cap on.

"You can't go out in that," he realised what he had just said and quickly corrected himself, "I mean, you can go out in that but there are guys that will be ogling you."

His eyes were fixed right on my legs. Then I finally got it. I burst into a fit of laughter.

He didn't want guys to see my legs, seriously?

I must admit that I was kind of flattered by the fact that he was protective of me but he didn't need to be. I didn't appreciate people dictating what I should and shouldn't be wearing. I mean, I could handle guys and I didn't need him to protect me.

"Relax. I'm just going to Tina's house and nowhere else," I assured him. He nodded his head but I could see that he still wanted me to change and I wasn't going to do that. I couldn't possibly change my outfit just because he thought I should.

"Are you sure you won't be cold?"

"Of course I won't be cold and don't even suggest a jersey and long pants. It's hot outside."

"Okay then, why don't you call Tina over and we can all chill here?" I was so not going to call Tina over. She'd always complained about me not going to her house and I decided to change that.

"Goodbye Paul."

I bid him as I left the apartment. I hailed a cab and went straight to Tina's house which was approximately a fifteen minute drive. I reached her house. I had already texted her to open the gate so when I got there I found the gate already open and I just got in.

She was in the living room with Austin, her older brother. As soon as they caught sight of me, I heard a wolf whistle and I found that it came from Austin. "Shut up," I told him. Austin and Tina were actually twins but they didn't like people knowing about that. I, too, didn't know why. He did not attend at the same school as ours. He was at a different school and I had gotten to know him as a very fun person to be around.

"Damn girl, nice ass you got there." I'm certain you guys can guess that it was not Tina who said that. It was Austin.

I showed him the finger.

Tina paid no attention to us and she was already digging into the ice cream I had brought her. I went to the kitchen to also get myself a spoon before Tina finished the ice cream off. When I got back Austin whistled again. "Don't you have a girlfriend to go to or friends to meet?" Tina asked him.

"No. I actually have friends coming over today."

"What?" Tina was as shocked as I was. The plan was for Tina to have the house to herself and she clearly knew nothing about Austin's friends coming over.

"Your friends are coming over?" Tina asked him again.

"Yup," said Austin. As if on cue, the doorbell rang and in barged a group of three guys. They each gave Austin one of those 'bro hugs' and he introduced them to us.

Austin started with the one with the chubby cheeks. His name was Liam and he was the shy one in the group. He was big but not fat and his body was quite built up. "Hi, Liam." I waved at him and he blushed crimson.
