My knight In Shining Armor

Part 2 A Cancelled Lunch

"When's his next chemo session?" Lorelai asked her.

"Next Wednesday, it will be his third one already.." Rory answered her while sighing.

"You okey kiddo?" Chris asked her.

"I'm not sure anymore.." Rory answered him.

Suddenly they heard a noise coming from the bedroom, they quickly walked into the bedroom. When they reached the bedroom they saw Logan lying on the floor.
When Rory saw him she started panicking and sat down beside him on the floor, she felt on his neck for a pulse.

"Logan? Can you hear me baby?" She asked panicked while gently shanking him.

She took him in her arms and tried waking him but with out any luck.

"Mom, can you grab me a wet cloth?" She asked Lorelai with panic in her throat.

"Sure thing kid. I'll be right back." Lorelai answered her.

While Lorelai went looking for a wet cloth, Rory just sat there with an unconscious Logan in her arms. "Why..? Why now? He was doing better.." She thought to herself.

She was interrupted by Chris asking if there was anything he could do.
There wasn't anything he could do that she could think about at the moment, then it suddenly hit her Finn and Colin.

"Dad can you grab my phone and dial Finn's number and put it on speaker?" She asked Chris.

"Sure thing kiddo." He answered her.

Then suddenly Lorelai came back with a wet cloth for Rory to she placed on his forehead.

When Chris had found her phone, he opened it and looked for Finn's number and as soon he found it he pressed dial and speaker.

Just seconds later Finn picked up.

~ "Love, we're about to order the food, everything okey?" Finn asked her.

~ "No everything's not okey.. Logan is unconscious and I can't wake him up.. Can you guys hurry to get here?" She asked him with tears in her eyes.

~ "Of course love, we will hurry as fast as we can to get to you. And Rory, he will be fine I promise you." Finn told her reassuringly.

After she had hung up with Finn, she continued wiping Logan's forehead, hoping he would wake up soon or she promised herself she would call an ambulance herself.
10 minutes later and he still hadn't woken up and she started to get even more panicked.

5 minutes later the doorbell rang and Lorelai went to open the door and she didn't even get to the door before both Finn and Colin came running in to the bedroom.
They both came to a quick stop when they saw one of their best friends just lying there on the floor unconscious.

"Is there anything we can do for you love?" Finn asked her concerned.

"You and Colin can please help me lift him off the floor and in bed instead." Rory asked them.

"Sure thing Rory. Just let us know what we can do for you." Colin told her honestly.

Colin grabbed Logan by the lower body and Finn grabbed Logan by the higher body, and then carefully lifted him in bed. As soon Logan lied tin bed Rory sat down right beside him and continued wiping his forehead.

"You all can go sit in the living room for the time being if you want to." Rory told all of them.

Both Lorelai and Chris went out to the living room and waited but not Finn and Colin.

They walked over to her and sat down at the end of the bed and waited patiently for Logan to wake up. No one of the three knew why he had become unconscious. They three worried like crazy for him.

"If he doesn't wake up in 20 minutes I'm calling an ambulance." Colin told them.

"Let's just hope it doesn't come to that, hopefully he'll wake up soon." Rory told them.

10 minutes later he still hadn't woken up and Rory started to wonder if something were seriously wrong with him.

She didn't have time to make a decision on whether to call an ambulance before Finn had already called 911.

10 more minutes later and the ambulance had arrived and in came two paramedics and started talking Logan's blood pressure and vitals, 5 minutes later they had taken the decision to bring him with them to the hospital to get him checked out.

Rory got to ride in the ambulance with Logan and Finn, Colin, Lorelai and Christopher followed behind all the way to the hospital.
When they arrived to the hospital Logan were still unconscious, they unloaded him from the ambulance and rolled him into the emergency entrance and just as they came in Dr. Grey and Dr. Avery meet up with them and went in to a emergency room to check Logan out.

To find out why he still were unconscious and what had lead him to become unconscious in the first place.
When they were finished in the emergency room, they drove Logan to a private room.
Then the doctors Grey and Avery briefed Rory, Finn, Colin and Rory's parents on Logan's condition.

"The conclusion that we can draw is that his oxygen didn't get to his brain and that's why he became unconscious." Dr.Grey told them.

"But why is he still unconscious?" Finn asked.

"The body responds differently from person to person." Dr. Avery answered.

"When do to think he will wake up?" Rory asked the doctors concerned.

"Well we have been giving him some medecine so hopefully within the hour, all you can do is wait." Dr. Grey told them.

"I just hate this.. Him being unconscious again, he were doing fine considering." Rory said out loud while shining and buried her head in her hands.

"He will wake up soon Love." Finn told her reassuringly.

"We will just have to wait and be patient." Lorelai told her.

They sat there just watched and waiting for Logan to wake up.

Suddenly Rory thought she should message Mitchum even if she didn't want to and she didn't thing Logan would have wanted it.

But she thought he needed to know what was going on with his son.
She grabbed her phone and chose Mitchum's number.

" Mr.Huntzberger I just thought you should know that Logan is in the hospital and is unconscious. So we will not be attending tomorrow's dinner." ~ Rory.

She laid down her phone and sat down on the bed beside Logan and grabbed his hand.

Please don't hate me..! Things will get better for Logan.
