Chapter 2: Sugar Rush

As Vivian ran to the Cafeteria; Amber, Charlotte and Twilight started to laugh because Vivian was running so rapidly for food. They arrived to a empty table and sat down with their lunch. Twilight opened her bag to find no lunch there, she remembered that she was in such a rush in the morning that she forgot to pack some lunch. Luckily, Amber had a spare sandwich and gave it to Twilight. Twilight refused to take the offer but inside she really wanted that Tuna sandwich. After a whole quarrel over the sandwich, Twilight accepted the offer.Vivian and Charlotte stared at Twilight and Amber and started to crack up. Amber didn't find it funny and gave them a evil eye. After they all finished their lunch, they headed to the park. The park was called, ' Mill Hill Park.' Vivian wasn't a big fan of the park but with her friends, she is able to have a little fun.

They arrived to the park and saw the duck pond. Twilight hated ducks as they would scare her cat, Lora. However, Amber loved all animals and ran to the pond. Twilight shouted,

"AMBER! GET YOUR BUTT BACK HERE OR ELSE I WILL LEAVE!"

"Why??? I LOVE animals, I wanna see those ducks and give em' bread!"

Amber shouted back. Vivian and Charlotte took Twilight away and sat her down to the nearest bench. Vivian told her,

" Ummm, don't worry.. It's just a pond."

" But.. I hate ducks!!!""

Twilight shouted. Twilight  and Amber were BFFs, so Twilight didn't want Amber to get hurt. Due to the rain, they all went back to the school building. The next bell rang, it was time for Maths. No one liked Mathes, but it was fun since the 4 of them were in the same class. They all ran down the corridor to get to maths class. They reached to Maths and sat down on a table. Vivian was the smartest of them all, so after 5 minutes she was done with all 15 questions on Algebra. Vivian raised her hand and said,

" Sir, I've finished my work. What do I do now?

"You may read a book if you have any on you."

Replied the teacher. Twilight, Amber and Charlotte were amazed on how quick Vivian finished. Twilight was only on question 6, so she felt a little ashamed. It was half way through the lesson and almost everyone was finished, including Twilight. The bell rang and everyone was excused, Vivian headed to the vending machine. The 3 friends ran after her as they had no clue where she was going. Vivian reached to the vending machine and put a £1 coin in. She pressed the button violently to get a packet of skittles. The skittles came out from the bottom of the machine and she picked it up. Next to the vending machine was a gumball machine, she walked beside it and put another coin in. Except it was half the price so it was 50p. She sat on the bench near the hall and started to eat her candy. Charlotte shouted ,

"Are you mad!? That is so much sugar! You're gonna have a sugar rush if you keep eating all of that."

"What do you mean? I'm perfectly fine, nothing has happened."

Vivian replied with candy in her mouth. Amber walked to the fountain to get a cup of water for Vivian so she could swallow it all down. Twilight, being the weird one, walked up to the gumball machine and ate one. Charlotte told her that if she ate candy then Vivian would want more. She chewed the last of her gum ball and went after Amber to get some water. Charlotte snatched the skittles out of Vivian's hand and threw it on the garbage. Vivian violently smacked her hands, Charlotte shouted,

"Why d'you slap meh?"

"No touchin the candy!"

Vivian replied stupidly. Twilight and Amber came back from the fountain and saw Vivian act a little crazy. They sat her down and gave her some water, they knew she had a sugar rush. Vivian ran to a random student and started singing a song, the student was freaked out. Her name was Ava Morgan, aka the popular girl. Ava said,

"What the heck do you think your doing?"

"Let it goooooo, let it goooooo!"

Vivian sang to her. Twilight ran to her and took her away from Ava since she was quite rude and was really popular. The next bell rang and it was the last class of the day. Charlotte and Vivian had the same class so Charlotte was going to take care of Crazy Vivian. Amber and Twilight headed down the corridor to class D9, Art class. Twilight hated art since she was the worst at drawing. However, Amber loved art so much that it was her favourite subject of them all. They stood next to their easel and waited to be given instructions from the teacher. They had a project to be due in next Monday about a famous artist. They were put into partners, Twilight was with Ava and Amber was with Thomas. Twilight and Ava never talked to each other so Twilight wasn't too sure about the partners. They all discussed on what they wanted to do and then the bell rang. It was finally the end of school, Twilight and Amber jumped and was eager to go home. They grabbed their coats and bags and headed to the gates where they were going to go home. Twilight and Amber lived on the same road, in fact they were next door neighbours. They lived on Afrupro Street, Twilight lived in N.5 and Amber lived in N.3. They walked home and then Amber asked,

"Um, can I call my mom on your phone?"

"Uhhhh.... yeah sure, why not."

Twilight replied. Amber took the phone and called up her mom, Lizzy. Lizzy, Amber's mom, had the exact same hair as Amber but she was slightly pale and had brown eyes. Amber called her mom and gave it back to Twilight after their conversation. One thing that no one knew about Twilight, not even her friends, was that she was half Arabic and half White. Twilight's dad left when she was at a very young age, around 4 years old. Twilight's mom got married to Arabic guy and that is her step-dad, he had a daughter called Jessica. Which was her step-sister but she just called her a sister.
They arrived home and Twilight swung her bag on to the sofa and sat down . She turned on the tv and watched until she was bored. After 20 minutes, she went to the dining table to eat some pasta for her lunch. She then got a call from her dad and answered the call. He said,

"Twilight, how are you?"

"I'm good dad, today Vivian had a really bad sugar rush."

"Who is Vivian again?"

"One of my friends oh dad, mom is calling me to hang the washing."

"Ok then bye."

"Bye!"
