"i hope you are really absolutely sure about this"
you say, whilst walking next to manu.
"i'm one hundred percent sure this is the tattoo i want"
"i hope you are, because once it's there", you say, pointing to his upperarm, "there is no going back"
manu bites his lip.
"it's gonna be on there forever", you complement your words.
"ahh y/n, i'm serious, stop it!
you're really stressing me out"
manu says, fidgeting on his hands.
"you're really nervous, aren't you?" you ask him, laughing.
manu rubs his neck. "no... i'm not..."
he licks his lip, something he always does when he's lying.
you slap his arm laughing.
"manu, stop lying, i've known you longer than today, and i know you're nervous"
"okay okay, i'm nervous", he admits.
he looks around if anyone is walking near you, scared that they might hear what he is about to say.
" everyone says it's hurts really bad and if it goes wrong than it will- "
you put your finger on his mouth.
"-shhhhhh"
he looks at you with his big, greeny eyes.
"it won't go wrong.
-and yes, it might hurt a little, but seriously, you won't die"
you smile at him.
he seems to calm down and he pulls you into a tight hug.
"this is why i love you so much",
you hear him mumble in your hair,
"you're my panic monitor, and that is priceless"
you pull away and look up at his face.
"you can squish my hand if you want to"
manu starts laughing.
"silly girl", he says, while wrapping his arm around you.
a few moments later you walk into the tattoo shop.
a robust tattooed man, about 40 years old, walks in your direction.
"holy shit, he is so scary."
manu whispers in your ear.
"shhhh, shut your face, he might hear you" you whisper back.
"hello, what can i do for you?"
the guy is is actually really nice.
"uhm.. i would like to get a tattoo"
manu says, holding your hand.
"your first one?"
manu nods, and you feel his palms get sweaty.
3 hours and a whole lot of hand-squishes later
manu stands in front of the mirror.
he looks so proud, like a little boy who just got a candy.
a tattoo, in this occasion.
"thank you so much man, it looks so good!" he thanks the guy from the shop.
"you're welcome, young man", he grins, while giving manu a pat.
"look y/n! don't you think it looks stunning?"
"it looks almost as beautiful as you", you snigger.
he smiles at you and presses a little kiss on the tip of you nose.
"thanks for being there for me"
