after contemplating the idea, she slipped hoseok's jacket on. "one second", she called out as she unlocked the door.

she froze as soon as her eyes met his. neither of them spoke, they stood there in silence.. staring at each other. she sighed before taking the jacket off and handing it to him, "you're here for your jacket aren't you? here."

"no that's not why i'm here.. and keep it, it looks better on you anyways." he pushed it back towards her with a soft smile.

she threw it on her coat rack, "wonho why
are you here?"

a serious expression was on his face now, "well you weren't answering your calls and.. w-wait what did you just call me?" his eyebrows furrowed.

she huffed, "look.. whatever you have to say make it fast i'm supposed to go out soon."

"okay... well", his eyes squeezed shut as he let out a groan, not being able to find the right words, "we.. um" he pulled flowers from behind his back, they were a bit wilted.

she stared at the flowers, forcing the oncoming smile away, "what are these for?"

he gulped, "i was supposed to give them to you yesterday but-"

"why?" she cut him off. she wanted to know what he meant last night, did he like her back? he was so confusing.

"why what?" his eyebrows knit together.

"why are you giving these to me?"

"because i l- i mean you kinda spoiled me on valentine's day it's the least i could do." he chuckled awkwardly.

she rolled her eyes, "so you're saying you only wanted to give these to me because you felt obligated to?"

"no of course not", he panicked, "that's not it-" his words were cut off by a car horn.

they both turned and eyed hyungwon, who was parked at the end of her front lawn. he waved from the drivers seat.

"what's he doing here?"

"we're going out." she simply stated, grabbing a different coat from her coat rack.

"again? didn't you two just hang out yesterday? do you really like him? since when do you-"

"why do you care? does it bother you?"

he opened his mouth but quickly shut it. he stared down at his feet with no response.
she scoffed, "bye wonho" before walking past him with a frown plastered on her face.

hoseok frowned, "why do you keep calling me that?" aria stopped in her tracks, "ive always been hoseok to you and only you. i'm your hoseok."

"really? the hoseok i know wouldn't lie to his friends nor would he ever yell at me." she turned on her feet and slammed the car door behind her.

"hey, you okay? do you want me to
come back after you guys talk?" hyungwon asked as he started the car.

"just drive." she pouted.

despite the argument with hoseok, hyungwon and aria had a great time at the museum. he made sure to make her feel better with constant corny compliments, the best one being that she was a work of art and belonged in the museum.

even though she was smiling it was clear to him something was bothering her. and that something was clearly hoseok. he asked her multiple times if she was okay and if she wanted him to bring her to hoseok so they could talk it out but she convinced him she was fine and refused to meet him.

she was upset to say the least. hoseok's been acting strange lately and she wanted to know why but he avoided the truth at all costs. she kept asking herself the same questions.. did he like her more than a friend? why did he say she was his? why was he so angry last night? why does he tense up every time hyungwon goes near her? and lastly; why is he so damn hard to read? she couldn't figure it all out and he wouldn't let her.

she emit a sigh as she walked up her front steps, stepping on something in the process. she knelt down and picked up the flowers that were left on her welcome mat. she took them in and placed them in a vase, even though there was no saving them. she stared at them as her mind raced. an idea came to mind, she slipped her phone out of her pocket and set an alarm for the morning.

tomorrow would be the perfect day to pay hoseok's mom a visit.
