I got out of my shower fairly quickly. I put on my headphones and started zoning out. I woke up the next day. I skipped school. I just couldn't do it today. I stood on my front porch for a few minutes. I saw a house, maybe 30 feet from mine. This house was abandoned. The wood was rotting, and there was garbage out front. I was curious. I waited until there was no one insight and ran. There was a set of side steps, they weren't very stable. The wood creaked with every step I took. I got to the top and slowly opened the door. Before I even walked in, Ashton was texting me.
