So I did some research and people with type 1 diabetes cannot be astronauts, police officers, scuba divers or in the military. That is just unfair. I mean diabetics are normal people with a disease they did not want. But all we have to do is count our carbs before eating and get a shot for it. I mean, I can understand the military one, but come on NASA, if you have a diabetic astronaut you could study what 0 gravity does to diabetes and how space affects diabetes. Diabetics don't even get a say in if they want diabetes or not, but I do know that diabetics are exactly the same as any other person, they just need medication at every meal. What is words is that I want to go to space but apparently I can't.
