Epilogue

He walked over to the coffee table and picked up a barbie doll. He brushed her hair down and walked over to Kassandra who had little tears running down her face.
"These are for you, sister." David smiled, handing the doll to her. Instantly her face lit up as she craddled the barbie in her arms and enveloped David in a hug.
"We are a family now Kas." He whispered softly, glancing up to me and Alex.

"Think we did the right thing?" Alex whispered, wrapping her arms around my waist
"We're parents of two now, there's no wrong." I whispered back, watching our two kids play together. David with his action figure and Kassandra with her Barbie's
"I love you." I mumbled, turning around and wrapping my arms around her waist as I bent down and pecked her lips.

"I love you too, so so much." She whispered, tugging on my hair as she pulled me down to connect. I chuckled against her urgentness and moved my lips along with hers.
"Baby." I hummed against her lips
"Daddy, mommy! Come play with us!" David yelled. Alex bit my bottom lip as she pulled away and rested her hands on my chest.
"We, should um, play with them." She whispered, licking her lips and opening her eyes

"I'll never get enough of you." I smiled, intertwining my hand with hers and pulling her over to the kids
"Hey baby." Alex cooed, carrying Kassandra and sitting ber on her lap
"What are you guys playing?" I asked David who sat down on my lap
"I'm her hero and she's the princess." David grinned up at me.
"Ohh really?" I asked, cocking a brow
"Yes, you want to be my sidekick dad?" He asked

"Why do I get to be the sidekick?" I pouted, looking over to Alex who was giggling with Kassandra
"Because mommy already got the queen role." He explained, shrugging his shoulder.
"Are you listening to this?" I asked Alex who teared her eyes off Kassandra and drifted them towards me and David
"Huh?" She questioned

"He just said I can't be a queen." I fake frowned causing Kassandra to frown along with me.
"Why not? I think he'd be a good queen." Kassandra commented
"Because mommy is the queen." David explained to her.
"Then is daddy the king?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. My lips tugged up at her sentence.

"Yes, and we are going to save our beautiful women." I smiled, grabbing the blonde action figure and standing him up.
"Exciting." Alex squealed, kissing Kassandra's cheek who nodded and smiled
"So what do you do first? Prince David?" I asked him
"Their in a tower guarded by evil warlocks and their master Mr. Dragon." David replied

"Uh huh, so how do we defeat them?" I asked him.
"We use our swords daddy, duh." He said, bopping my head and handing my action figure a little grey sword
"Ok ok." I chuckled as he mimicked a dragon and controlled it
"Die dragon!" I yelled, taking the action figure and stabbing the dragon in the leg
"Daddy watch out a warlock!" David yelled, fake punching a warlock that was behind my action figure.

"Thank you son." I grinned at him, he grinned back and nodded
"Can you guys hurry it up? We're not getting any younger boys." Alex teased
"Yeah." Kassandra giggled and nodded
"Ok ok, sheesh." I mumbled, helping David defeat the warlocks and Mr. Dragon. Such a creative name from a seven year old, am I right?
"We saved you!" David cheered, rushing over to Alex and crushing her in a hug.

"Oh my baby." Alex laughed, kissing his forehead repeatedly
"Don't I get a kiss too?" I pouted, Kassandra giggled and stood up, making her way towards me
"Can I give you a kiss?" She asked shyly. I smiled and nodded. She smiled widely and kissed my cheek before hugging me.
"This is definitely going up on the wall." Alex grinned, holding up her phone, looking at what I'm guessing is a picture

"Look at it." She squealed, showing us the picture. Kassandra had her little arms around my neck while I had mine on her waist tightly and a smile was plastered on my face while my eyes were closed.
"Yeah, that's definitely going on the wall." I chuckled and nodded
"What for?" Kassandra asked in confusion
"So everyone who walks into our house can see that we have not only one child, but two." I replied, kissing her cheek.
