Hello! this is the author of this book! I'm here to explain what the last part of the last chapter was. pretty much the whole time willow was telling the story as an older version of herself. so at the very end when she is explaining how she is in the wicked headquarters that is her in the present time. so the whole book was her looking back on her time in the maze!
