She was there when I was down,
She'd laugh when I was a clown.
When I was flooded with pain,
She'd wipe it off like it was a stain
When I was in a fight,
She'd bring up the light.
When they prevent me,
She'd defend me
When she needed help
I couldn't help but hurt myself
Knowing I couldn't help her,
I would rather live in the shadow of a shelf
She invited me to her house
Scared, I felt like a mouse
But then she made me feel like I was at home
But I sat there, feeling like stone.
She's a trusty friend
And I hope our friendship would never end
Because she's the one who understands me
Even though I was like a bee
A bee who annoys and sting
The bee who's lonely and who clings
A worthless bee
And the worst bee there is
So my dear friend, won't you smile again?
I know it takes a while for a soul to mend.
But if you ever leave
I would surely grieve
