Hey this is Ocean_spray21... So this is the 1st fanfic i EVER wrote so the first few chapters are kinda awful..... But get past those and I think its pretty desent!😅😅💕
now onto the story!
Once, a single drop of moonlight fell from the heavens. From this small drop of moonlight, grew a magic blue flower with the ability to heal and mend all wounds and illness.
Years passed by and the still young flower stayed untouched by the world. But as time went on a small kingdom grew. The kingdom was ruled by a beloved King and Queen.
The Queen was loved by everyone for her kindness and motherlike love. And that's a good thing too because she was about to be a mother herself. But illness fell up in the kingdom. Sweeping over the queen and her child.
They were running out of time, and that's when people usually start to look for a miracle. Or in this case, a magic flower.
Little did they know, they weren't the only ones that knew about this drop of moonlight. A man named Gabrielle knew of the flowers gift and hoarded its healing power for himself to stay young for hundreds of years, and all he had to do was sing a special song.
"Flower, gleam and glow
Let your power shine
Make the clock reverse
Bring back what once was mine
What once was mine"
But when the guards found the magic flower they dug it up and took it away to heal the queen.
Nine months Later, a healthy baby princess,was born. Her beautiful dark blue hair made the midnight sky even envious.
To celebrate the birth of Princess Marinette, the King and Queen released a single glowing white butterfly into the sky followed by the entire kingdom releasing their own glowing white butterflies. Filling the night sky. And for that one moment, everything was perfect.
And then that moment ended.
That night Gabrielle broke into the palace to receive is stolen flower but instead found a small child.
"Flower, gleam and glow
Let your power shine
Make the clock re-"
He sung as the childs hair started to glow.
"But what happens when I-"
He thought as he pull out a knife and sliced a small portion of the infants hair.
"No" he thought as the hair turned her midnight black and glow faided.
Gabruelle, shocked and upset at the forever gone flower stole the child and was gone before the King could call the guard to recive his now lost daughter.
The kingdom searched and searched but they could not find the princess. For deep within the forest, in a hidden tower, Gabriel raised the child as his own.
< six years later >
"-heal what has been hurt
Change the fate's design
Save what has been lost
Bring back what once was mine
What once was mine"
sang a young marinette as she watch the the crackling fire pop and sizzle.
Six years ago Gabrielle had found his magic flower, but this time he was determined to keep it hidden from the world.
"Why can't I go outside papa?" The young child asked as Gabrielle softly stroked a brush through the child's ever-growing hair.
"The outside world is a dangerous place, filled with horrible, selfish people. You must stay here, where you're safe. Do you understand darling?"
"Yes papa." She said looking at the ground as he continued to brush her hair.
But the walls of that tower could not hide everything.
Each year, on her birthday, the King and Queen released thousands of small glowing white butterflies into the sky, in hope that one day, their lost princess would return.
