Cars screeching, heels tapping. Where do I stop. "Aaliyah, stop running I'll fix everything" unknown yells. I scurry behind a bush I'm breathing so hard. "Aaliyah your making everything worse please come out ok begging you" unknown says softly. I peek my head out then stand up ", I don't know if I can do this anymore" I say sprouting tears. He pulls me into his arms. (Andre is Aaliyah's Boyfriends). I can't believe it I have to go to another foster home it's been 2 before this one. My dead beat mom dropped me off at my grandmothers house she soon died then I was left to go to Foster care. I wish that this would've never happened. We walk to the car "how many more times will I have to do this?" I question.
We end up at a big brick house. "Hopefully this will be the last house." Andre says wondering. "Hopefully" I sigh. Andre is getting out the car to open the door for me. "Andre, I'm ready." I take a breather and walk to the door and ring the bell. A mans head pops out the little crack in the door. "Oh my god honey it's her!" He says opening the door all the way I hear footsteps excitingly running down the stairs.
"Come in Come in." They both say at the same time. I step in slowly and have a seat on a beautiful white chair. "Wait, who are you?" The man says to Andre. "I'm Aaliyah's boyfriend." Andre exclaims. "Oh, come in hun" the women says. We all are sitting now "I'm Shanice, your foster mom, And this is your foster dad Malik" Shanice Says happily. "Hello" you say with a smirk "Andre and Aaliyah follow me" Malik says while clearing his throat.
We go up a turn of stairs and I see a big teal bedroom. In shock I say "is this my room" "yes it is do you like it" Shanice says happily "I love it" I say. "Bye Shanice, Bye Malik I'm going to get going, Bye Chantel Love you" He says with a grin "Love you to Bye" I say giving him a hug. "Well we will leave you alone, goodnight" they both say.
I run onto the bed and wonder will this be the last foster home I go to.
