He had this tone in his voice that made one want to listen when he speakd. Not authoritative though.
"My Mom is the only one I have left, she has a weak heart and I'm scared she's slowly going. If she goes then I'm gone."She placed a reassuring hand on his arm.
"I'm sure she'll be fine.""Don't say it if it's not the truth." He replied jerking from her touch.
