I put the cup of tea down and asked "So when is Jahseh coming out of juvie?"
"In a year" said Jahseh's grandma.
I cleared my throat "I'm sorry a year?"
"Yes I was so mad when I found out"
"What did he do?"
"About four or five things---I don't remember...hey are you okay" said Jahseh's grandma as she put her hand on mine.
"Throat just dry" I said as I drank some tea.
"It's okay to be sad" said Jahseh's grandma. "Lord knows I'm still sad too"
"Can I visit him?"
"I'm sorry you can't"
I felt my phone vibrated and see it's Jules calling. "Jules I'm coming home now" I hanged up before saying "You sure I can't?"
