he can't ever forget the first time he saw her. her beautiful auburn hair that reminded him of sunsets along the bay, brushing against her shoulder. her slightly arched eyebrows above her deep green eyes, so dark and intimidating. and from her cherry coloured lips escaped a laugh like no one else had.

she was beauty, she was grace.

she was rather tall, her every move delicate like a flower. her hair was often in a half ponytail and tied together with a cerulean bow. she often wore a bright coloured dress, preferably yellow, that fit nicely around her waist, heels and a smile. after all, it was the best makeup any girl could wear.

but today it was rather different.

the once bright yellow dress seemed to have faded. the tall and sharp heels turned into boring peach flats. her smile, oh her beautiful smile, it was gone. the smile that stole his heart— never to be seen again. her cherry coloured lips were now pale and boring. her auburn hair now only reminded him of death. her laugh has turned into screams of agony and pain.

behind the façade was a woman, barely holding on, barely breathing.
