From all the Asians I know, they all at least have one extra class on the weekends. From SHSAT preps to instrument classes.
My sister used to go to SHSAT classes on Wednesdays and other days...I don't remember. For me, (I have 3 siblings so) all 4 of us go take Chinese classes.
It's not a choice.
