After a while I just layed in my bed thinking. The song had long since finished and now I was listening to Say something by a Great Big world. I sighed as I tried to figure out how this all happened.
*FLASHBACK TO 3 WEEKS EARLIER*
I walked to my locker and groaned, he was there. This Monday was already off to a bad start. "What do you want Calum?" I asked rudely. "What?" He said innocently. "A guy can't just come say hi to his best friend." I rolled my eyes. "No because I'm not your friend." He rolled his eyes and punched me in the arm. "You're funny." he said sarcastically "Turd." I muttered as he walked away. Kylie walked up to me being her happy, perky self. Uggh. If you can't tell already I'm the loner type. I hate all social interaction. The only reason they're my friends is because Aaron hates social stuff too, and Kylie made me hang out with her. Eventually we became friends and now we hang out like, all the time. "Heyyyyyy Kylieeeee." I said as she walked up. "Heyyyyyyy Amandaaaaaa." she replied. We talked a bit before walking to 1st period.
*TIME SKIP TO LATER THAT DAY*
After School we headed to my parent's restaurant, Kyle's Steak, Pizza, & More. He has a little bit of everything. When we got inside we met Aaron at our usual booth in the back corner. He had his History book out working on the section review we had to do for homework. I still have no idea how he always gets here before us. Kylie slid into the booth next to Aaron, but he hardly seemed to notice because he was nose deep in that stupid history book. Just as we sat down Calum and his annoying friend Tyler walked up. I groaned as they squeezed into the booth next to me. I was literally squished against the wall. Like usual Calum started flirting up a storm with Kylie, and Tyler started making fun of Aaron for being such a "nerd". Then he did something that he usually never does, grabbed Kylie and pulled her outside. They talked for a bit before Calum stormed off in a fit of fury. I looked at Tyler and asked "What was that all about?" His expression turned from proud to worried in a split second. "Uhh... Nothing." he stuttered nervously. He exited the building and ran after Calum who was getting in his car ready to leave him. I sighed as I saw Kylie hop in the car with Calum. I looked at Aaron and he just shrugged. Nobody ever tell me anything! I slammed his book shut and stormed off. I know he knows what's going on I jut wished he'd tell me. I mean he tells Kylie everything, and she tells him everything. I swear they hate me or something. If they're not gonna tell me anything they should just leave me alone! I really miss when I spent everyday alone in my room. There was no one but me, which means there was no one to hurt me. I was safe, but now I'm just an easy target.
*NOW RETURNING TO THE PRESENT*
My phone buzzed bring me back to the present. It was Aaron. He asked if I wanted to go see a movie tomorrow to get my mind off thing. I really didn't wasn't to go, but I felt my fingers type yes. I mean he is my best friend, maybe it'll be fun. Then again he's actually my only friend. My life is pathetic.
