Hi I'm nine and I'm 13 years old.
2 years ago I escaped from Hawkins laboratory after being there trapped and experimented on since I was 8.
Experimented...more like torture.
Me and 10 other kids are being used because of our powers. We all have telekinesis, which is moving stuff with your mind and it hurts us. They don't realize it.
When I escaped in 1981 my friend went along with me too. Her name was Eleven and we were the only kind ones there, the rest were too messed up to be nice. Although I escaped...eleven got caught and she let them run after her instead of me; when you run away from a laboratory trying to use you, it's not pretty. Nothing about the place was pretty.
A week after running I got caught by an orphanage and a year after being there I got adopted. Luckily the family was nice and I had a brother too. Back then I said to myself "maybe my life will be normal again" Now in 1984 I believe it. My life has gotten amazing, and I'm now known as April.
