Hi. I'm Dick Grayson. I'm a superhero. Well, not a full superhero, like Superman or Wonderwoman. I'm just a sidekick, but that's better than most people can say. Technically, I shouldn't be saying, with the whole super identity thing, but I'll keep this book under LOCK AND KEY.
I'm Batman's sidekick. Robin. And NO, I don't get loads of cool gadgets and stuff. But I don't need them. I'm a pretty good fighter, if I do say so myself.
For being a billionaire he's also pretty stingy with the pay. But, hey, I can't complain. I get to fight with BATMAN, and be on TV and stuff. That's not really what I like about it though.
I think it's the thrill, the thrill of fighting bad guys, like the Joker. He recently got a sidekick- Indigo. She's got these awesome powers where she can magic up plasma- like stuff that's purple. Hence the name. She's probably more powerful than him, actually, and could overthrow him at anytime. Maybe that's her plan. I don't know. But what I DO know, is that I always have to deal with her while Batman deals with the Big Guy.
I go and fight with her for like twenty minutes NON-STOP while Batman diffuses a bomb or saves a baby or takes a selfie on snapchat with a fan. By the end we're both exhausted.
The thing that annoys me most, though, is the fact that Indigo doesn't seem like a BAD bad guy. She fights me with utter rage, of course, she's a bad guy. But she never lets anyone die. For instance, if a car was going to smash into someone, she'd grab it with a giant plasma hand that she's pulled from the ground, and then CHUCK IT AT ME.
I know she's trying to hurt ME, because she's my enemy or whatever, but I can see the slight urgency under her mask when someone's about to die. It doesn't really matter, though. I'm probably gonna be fighting her til the day I die. Or the day she dies.
I wish I didn't, but I feel sorry for her. What if the Joker finds out and he does something to her? Maybe this makes her...
a GOOD bad guy?
