My eyes search Senry's face anxiously, my grip loosening on the rigid girl in my arms.

"She...was so fast," I hear someone say from the sidelines. I turn my head towards them quizzically. Then, I really was fast? I thought it was merely adrenaline messing with my head.

"You." The unknown Kyo barks, eyes burning with rage. I feel a chilled coldness capture my chest, filling me to the rim with an frightening uneasiness. His head snaps towards Senry, struggling visibly to keep his fury contained. At least, for now. "I'll handle the youth, you take care of her immediately." He points his finger rigidly at me.

I pivot my head flustered to Senry, who only folds his arms over his chest, tapping his foot. His eyebrows are drawn focused to the middle of his forehead creating a small crease. Oh my God, is he actually considering this? He can't. "Senry," I breathe, eyes brimming with water. It's not death I'm afraid of, in fact I'd gladly accept it. It's just by whose hand that I am terrified of.

He narrows his eyes, slowly letting out his tongue to wet his lips.

"Just kill her already!" The man barks, fangs protruding from his lips.

Senry clenches his fists, eyes on me. My breath is forbidden past my lips, hitched in my throat. He really is going to kill me. The tension is heavy in the room, my heart pounding from excruciating anxiety for the impact soon to come. Moments zip by with no contact, though, making my head pound flustered.

If your going to kill me, just kill me.

"God, I'll do it myself!" The Kyo spits, roughly shoving past Senry. My eyes jerk to his blood thirsty glare. He hisses, tongue swiping against his sharp teeth. I step back, only to feel the hard contact of another Kyo's fist landing on my head. It's not enough to end my life, or knock me uncontentious. It's merely a tactic to keep me still and to repel me from struggling. I feel his harsh pang as he jerks on a fistful of my hair, tears sparking in my eyes. A rush of pain hitches in my gut, twisting it agonizingly. I look despondent at Senry, but his gaze only meets the floor. The beast whips me shamelessly on the ground, magnifying the excruciating throbbing and tugging. I reach my hands up, blinding swatting at his arm, to no avail.

He brings his fist back, my heart pounding. I am going to dieー

"Stop," a crisp voice reverberates through the large space. Instantly the grip on my hair loosens, sending me spilling to the ground. I look up weakly through the blur of my tears. My sight lands on a slender woman with all black clothing. Her black hair is twisted into a tight bun, her face soft and young, yet her appearance portrays only dominance. Other Kyo surround her, glaring at me roughly. Her gaze isn't any less piercing.

"H-Hera..." The man stutters, stepping away from me in a shaky movement. He bends down hastily on one knee, eyes locked on the ground. Hera. The head of the Kyo.

"This can end differently," she explains coldly, eyes briefly moving to his trembling figure. "We can't waste any time. You, come with me. If you are incapable of walking I'll have one of my guards carry you." She looks at me, but the gesture isn't one out of kindness, only for haste and arbitrary needs.

I shake my head weakly, fumbling to my feet steadily. But they don't show a single shred of empathy as one of them grabs my arm and drags me forward towards a dark room.

"What's going on?" I question anxiously as soon as we are sealed off in a dimly lit room.

They have me sit in a small wooden chair, Hera positioning herself comfortably in a chair before me. Her fingers lace in her lap gently, eyes coldly set on me. "We have some issues we wish to explain with you." She states. But that hardly helps me understand the situation. Usually when a Veracity commits a crime it's death on sight. Not a reprimand session. Maybe they plan to torture me. My chest tightens at the thought, tears falling down my cheeks.
