Mommy, Where are You?

21 5 4

The one who birthed me,
The one who nursed me.
For some reason
It's you I can no longer see.

A sea of darkness surrounding me
It was cruel and cold.
You're sobs were loud
But now, you're too far to hold.

Daddy doesn't talk about you.
If I ask where you are
He'll say you're down below
And not in the night as a star.

Mommy, I'm scared
Daddy says your dead
And I'll join you
In a firey bed.

Mommy, I'm scared
There's nothing I can do
Except hide beneath my bed.
Mommy, where are you?
