11 March 2009, San Andreas, Daisy Loo Estate.
The school was cut short today because of the fire accident. But that doesn't mean the homework will got cut off as well. Mrs. Leia, the language teacher gave us one homework to be submitted in three days. We have to investigate every hidden stories in Daisy Loo. Our old old yet big estate. Maybe supernaturals, funny, or else. Whatever is that, my group decided to visit my Grandmother's house to ask her lots of things. She have been living in this estate ever since this place was built.
Wearing my black jacket and long jeans, I carried my pencil case and my language textbook. Two of my best friends, Elliot and Dean have been waiting outside my house, waiting me to change into a more suitable clothes. They're wearing their usual stripped sweater and black and grey pants.
"You took your fucking sweet time, don't you?" Elliot laughed, slightly mocking me. His asian eyes are covered with his black glass today.
I giggled and closed the wooden door. "Not my fault. Beautiful girls always took a long time to change."
"Come on! We're running out of time! I have a date in two hours." He took my hand and pulled my body along with Dean.
My grandmother live a little bit far away from our house. She's living in the old street where the original people who lived here now staying. Most of them are old and can't stand loud voices. My grandma lives alone after our grandfather died two years ago. She may be old, but she's smart. By the way, she's seventy years old.

I rang the bell twice and my grandmother opened the door.
"What brings you here?" She looked at my friends with a friendly look. "Something must have brings you here. Otherwise you won't come." My grandma laughed in a playful manner.
My friends and I gave her a bright look. "We got a homework. You're the perfect madam to help us!" Dean said. "We must look for special events that used to happen in Daisy Loo. Such as.. err, accident or maybe some great people who used to live here?"
"I think we can talk things like that inside. I will make some tea." She opened the door wider so three of us can get inside.
My parents weren't home. Actually, ever since they got a raise and new statuses, my parents started to got really busy and usually left me all alone for a few days. Yesterday, they flied to England to finish some work given by their director. They told me that they will be back in a week or more. Well, I'm eighteen. I can take care of myself.
"Emilia, how's your school?" My grandma came out from the kitchen holding a silver tray.
I shrugged. "Good. I'm going to graduate by the way."
"Do you have any plans?" She asked again.
"I don't really know. Maybe I'll go to New York or Las Vegas." I took my cup and drank the tea, ignoring Elliot and Dean.
Dean took out his recorder. "So, Mrs. Kerren. Do you have any interesting story about Daisy Loo?" Pretty smart. I'm too lazy to write things down anyway.
My grandma sat on the sofa and tried to think of something for the story. It took her several minutes before she got a good story in her head. I prepared my pencil and eraser to write. Elliot is taking out his phone to type what she's going to say.
"I think I have one story.. But I don't know.. This story is really long and old. Many people who lived through don't want to remember it." She shook her head.
Elliot gave her a confidence look, "Hey, no problem Mrs. Kerren. We can handle everything!"
"We're old enough for scary stories." Dean said.
