Amongst the stars

Jungkook knew this place like the back of his hand, it became a second home to him. A way of escape from the noises that would ring in his ears of the yelling and screams from his parents and the children who'd bully him from childhood.

He sat by a wooden bench and lay his head back, giving a small sigh to himself. The rain had gradually stopped until the sky had returned to it's normal colour.

He closed his eyes as he thought deeply to himself about his life. When he was young, he once ran away from the bullies who'd mock him because of his parent's separation. He wouldn't dare cry in front of them so he'd run, as far as his legs could take him.

Until the day he came across a certain park.

The once lively chatter from the children, giggling about a new television drama from the mother's, the intense talk of football and work from the father's and the elderly couples strolling and talking sweetly amongst one another. It made young Jungkook form the smallest smile as his tears stopped.

He came across a new bench at the time and sat, watching everyone else. But throughout the years that went by, everyone left one by one until he became the only visitor of the now, abandoned park. He could never seem to let go of this park.

But soon his past thoughts got interrupted as now that his music stopped playing, he could hear the noise of jingles from the swings. No one had used the swings in several years he thought.

So he opened his eyes and saw who it was. There sat on a swing, looking at the sky was a girl, roughly his age. He could only see the side of her face yet he took in her features.

Long brown curls flowing down her back, black ripped jeans along with a thick sky blue jumper and small black boot heels. She never once looked away from the sky above.

He didn't want to notice she was there but he couldn't help it. Every time he'd say he wouldn't look, he wouldn't keep his word and ended up glancing now and then at the girl.

There was something about her that made Jungkook feel different. A feeling that he hadn't felt in a long time.
