Hello there! Before to start to read, I wanted to thank you to have clicked on this story and have spent a bit of your time to read these words. I know, my grammar isn't good, but as Michelangelo said, "I'm still learning". English isn't my mother tongue, but anyway I wanted to do something different, in a different language.
Let me know your thoughts and if I should continue it! Kisses xoxo

The sun was high in the sky when Leia Organa awakened with some noises. She barely rotated her head to see what it was, but then laid on the pillow again.
Han wasn’t in the bed. That was not the first time since he had had the brilliant idea to repair properly the Falcon. While her husband was doing what he liked most, she had to attend an important Senate’s reunion, trying to avoid annoying looks wherever she was staring at. Under the bed, as Leia looked closely, some black tufts of hair protruded from it. “Ben?”, she whispered, but he didn’t move.
The General sat on the bed, raising an eyebrow while she was looking at the little boy near to her. Leia crossed her arms, and continued to look at her son. “Ben, I know you’re here”.
The boy immediately answered back “Mom, quiet please!”, leaving Leia speechless for an instant. “Uncle is searching me”, he added, feeling bad to have answered rudely to his mom’s sweet voice.
Leia rolled her eyes. She had asked Luke to take care of Ben while she was away, and her brother was starting his nephew’s day in the right way. He loved him so much, and somehow Ben told her the night before he was happy to see her go away, so he would have stayed more with his uncle.
“Have you tidied your toys, little one?”, Leia asked, smiling just a bit.
“I will do it later, I promise”, he said quickly and with a slow voice, worried if Luke would have discovered his hideout.
“No, no and no, Ben. First you tidy your room and then…”, she started to say, but Ben was not listening clearly, covering his ears with the hands. “You may do what I order, or I’ll call Luke without saying a word”.
As these words floated in the air, Ben standed up and coloured of violet his cheeks. “No, mommy, please”, he tried to ‘calm’ her.
Leia smiled, and then she heard Luke’s voice in her mind. “He’s here, isn’t he?”, asked through the Force.
Leia answered a quick “Yes”, feeling that Luke was already behind.
Luke opened the door silently, looking around the room. “Can I enter?”, asked with his usual cordial tone, searching Ben around.
“Oh, finally! I’ve looked for you everywhere, boy!”, exclaimed when his blue eyes met Ben’s dark ones.
“Mum, it was you!”, whined, sad because he had lost the game. “That’s cheating, we said no Jedi trick!”.
Luke smiled, ruffling Ben’s curly hair. “In time, you’ll learn to cheat with your dad. But your mum should know nothing!”
“What?”, she said in a fake surprising tone, standing up from the bed and putting her hands on the waist. Luke kissed her on the cheek, and put an arm around her shoulders. “Don’t worry Ben, I’ll cover you”, continued, staring at Ben’s growing smile.
“Well, it won’t require so much time to get you two away from my view”, replied.
Ben gave a five to Luke. “Okay, now listen to your mom and tidy your room. We’ll play later, all the day, I swear”.
The boy nodded and went out from the room. “Why does he keep listening to your orders and not to his mom’s?”, asked Leia laughing.
“Because I know what he needs, and I want to give him what I wasn’t capable to have in my childhood”, smiled back. Leia looked down, knowing Luke’s difficult past in confront of hers one. He noticed the air of sadness around her. “And maybe I’m better than you with babies”.
She smiled, taking her brother’s hand. “You’re really helpful Luke. Seriously - Ben loves you so much and wants to stay only with you. But I know you’ve bigger responsibilities to achieve”.
Now it was Luke’s time to look down at his feet. “I know Leia. It’s something I can’t start in a day. I have to do more researches, how to discover Force-sensitives, if there was a Jedi manual or something like that… Yoda said I was a Jedi, but I don’t feel I know everything. Even from my past”.
“That’s right, after all. What I am trying to say it’s you need to focus also on your future. The New Republic is restoring itself, and I think the right moment to start your Jedi Order is near. Jedi protected the Old Republic, so yours Order will protect our new govern”.
“I know right. Some years ago I couldn’t believe I would have become what I am today”, Luke said, passing his hand through Leia’s brown hair.
“But… are you happy of what have you become, Luke?”, she asked with a broken and unsure voice, frowning.
It was a difficult answer. He hadn’t time to think what would have happened if he didn’t start his journey with Ben Kenobi. Leia would have been killed, Han would have continued his smuggler life, the Empire would have been stronger without the Rebellion. He would have never met his father, or awakened his power in the Force. And now - he was called with the appellative of ‘The Last Jedi’, the first of the New Order. He was more famous than he’d ever have imagined.
“I do believe everything happens for a reason. All is as the Force wills it”, answered. Leia was stressed, he could have sensed it even without the Force. Ben, Han’s manners, the Senate… she was tired. But it was only the beginning.
“You were right about… Our father”, Leia said with a certain difficulty, “I assume now you're right too”.
“Everything will go in the right way, little sister. Trust me”.
Leia smiled, crossing her arms. “I’ve always trusted you, brave farmboy”.
He nodded, hearing Ben crying some meters under them. “Don’t worry, prepare yourself for the reunion. I’ll watch over Ben”.
Leia thanked him with a shy smile, and continued to stare at him until the door closed again, leaving her alone again.
Luke found little Ben screaming against his father, near the Millennium Falcon.
“I’ve told you to not come when dad is working”, he said to Ben, making him sit on a metallic box.
“But dad -” Ben started to say, interrupted by a whiny movement of his father’s hand. “It’s dangerous. Why didn't you play in your room?  You can watch me when I finish”.
“You always finish when it's time to bed”, he shouted, not capable to stop the tears.
Luke had to do something. “Hello there”, he said, greeting his friend. “Is everything fine?”
“Yeah, yeah kid”, Han rudely answered, teasing his nerves. “Wasn’t Ben with you?”
“I just talked to Leia”, Luke answered with his same tone, hoping to make him realise how stressed was his voice against him.
Chewie roared inside the Falcon, something similar as a voice call. “Yes, fuzzball, I’m coming”, screamed in response.
“Sorry Luke, can you take him somewhere else? I’m worried if he touches dangerous objects”, Han calmed himself, looking at his son. He was continuing to sob.
Luke teased his arms towards Ben, and he launched himself in theirs. “He’s a good boy, Han. Remember it”, the Jedi whispered to his sister’s husband, leaving him alone as he wished.
“I wanted to stay with dad”, Ben whispered in tears. “I did nothing wrong”.
“I know, little star. Dad’s working hard, also for you. He said to me he wants you to pilot the Falcon when you're old enough”, he confessed, hoping to make him feel better.
“Do you think he’ll leave me his ship?”, the nephew asked, raising his head to look at Luke’s blue eyes.
His uncle nodded, caressing Ben’s back. “And you’ll help your old uncle to continue his legacy too”.
“Using the powers you and mommy have?”
Luke knew it was an argument Leia didn't want to talk about. She wanted a relaxing childhood for her son, and when he was old enough, starting to train with Luke.
“You’ll be a great Jedi, better than me. You're the heir of the Skywalker name, Ben”.
The child opened his eyes, and Luke could have seen what he was imagining. He would have liked it too. “I will not disappoint you, uncle!”, he announced proud, while Luke started to laugh softly.
“You will never disappoint me, Ben”, Luke answered, leaving a kiss on his forehead.
