I chuckled a little, "then you are meeting all my friends. Good luck!" He half grinned at me, "No luck is needed. They will love me," I glared at him 'Wonder why you aren't a trumpet,' I thought to myself as I freed my arm from his not noticing a small frown on his face. "Alright," I stated, "Lets do this"
After I introduced Ty to most of my friends, I decided he should meet Sarah last. After all, she would make the biggest deal about. It. We walked up to her and I tapped her shoulder, "Hey Sarah. I want you to meet a newbie. His name is Ty." Sarah turned around and she shrugged. "Still not as cute as Bryce" she sighed as she looked across the yard to look at her crush. I laughed and pushed her a little toward him, "Go talk to him! I know he likes you too!" I giggled as she blushed a deep red. "Alright I'll go!" She laughed. Ty rolled his eyes, "Girls," he mumbled.
Later in the evening, we were all sitting around a huge campfire waiting for parents to pick up the people who couldn't drive an those who could to go home. "When is your mom going to be here?" Ty yawned. I yawned with him, "In about five minutes." He nodded and leaned on me as he tried to not fall asleep. When my mom arrived, I poked him in the sides and he got up. I helped him into the car and we slowly drove him home. My mom and I spoke quietly so we wouldn't wake him. "Have fun tonight?" My mom questioned. I smiled at her, "When don't I when I'm around a bunch of band people?" I laughed. As we got to Ty's house, I woke him up, helped him inside, said goodnight, and went home hoping for a good night's rest tonight.
The rest of the weekend went by in a blur, and so did the morning leading up to the second week of mini band camp. When I got there, it was still the same boring routine. That was until after practice. Ty walked up to me, looked me in the eyes and asked, "This Saturday will you go on a date with me?" I was stunned.
*my little note*
I'm sorry this is super short. I've been really busy and haven't had much time for anything! I will try and find more time. But for now, band, school, and my friends are my top focus.
