The last time Taeyong saw Ten was at the restaurant. Like Taeyong had predicted, Ten isolates himself. The younger always does that whenever they're in a fight, only to come out from his hideout when he felt better. Texts he sends was left unread. The calls he made unheard. Ten had switched off his phone, even all his social media account. Taeyong is extremely worried and anxious.

The elder skipped his classes to search after his missing lover. Only then Taeyong realized how much they had drifted apart. The younger had rearranged his schedule long time ago and he only found out recently. Some of Ten's classes were in different campus and were closer to his. They even had a class next to each other at the same time. Taeyong felt so stupid and ashamed.

But...

Why didn't Ten told him?

Taeyong tired asking Ten's acquaintance about his lover's whereabouts, alas no avail. Desperate, Taeyong even sneaked into Ten's classes to look for his missing boyfriend. He was found and kicked out by the lecturers eventually.

Frustrated and upset, Taeyong blamed Ten who became distant. He wasn't sure when it happen but it might have started long ago. 5 years investing their relationship never did Taeyong thought the day he doubts Ten would come. He had always disliked Ten's nosy best friend, Doyoung and he was jealous of Johnny who shared the same apartment with his lover.

Taeyong had asked Ten to move in with him, but the younger refused. Ten reasoned: one, Taeyong is sharing an apartment with his elder brother Taeil which their parent bought. If Ten were to move in, he'd be free loading. Two, Ten didn't want to be too dependent towards Taeyong. Three, moving in the same room is a big step to a whole new level for Ten the younger wasn't sure he's ready.

Taeyong however, believed Ten doesn't trust him.

Then, Johnny came into the picture. That American from Chicago and Ten clicked so well it made Taeyong jealous. That latter is smart, an engineering major. He's tall, masculine, a gentle giant bear who adores Ten as his own younger brother. Even though Johnny was clear that he and Ten will never stand a chance, Taeyong had always been insecure. He loathes it when he sees Johnny around Ten. They were always so close and the elder felt left out and unloved.
